'Only Way Is Essex' Lauren Goodger: 'I won't go back to Mark Wright'

The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger has claimed that ex-fiancé Mark Wright is still pursuing her for a reunion.

The 24-year-old claimed that she had ignored all of Wright's phone calls since their engagement was called off in August, as she is happy to be a "strong, independent woman".



"Mark still keeps calling me all the time, but I won't take him back," she told The Mirror. "He even called me today to 'discuss the dog'. I said, 'What do you want, Mark?'

"I knew it was just an excuse to get talking about us. I've moved on. I'm a strong, independent woman, working on myself now."

Goodger added that she couldn't imagine getting married to Wright and admitted that it was a "mistake" to accept his proposal.

"Imagine if I had still been with him, I'd have been getting married next year," she declared. "What a mistake - especially after all he's put me through."

Wright said shortly after the split that he would always love Goodger.
