Sue Wells believes that the situation, which saw both Sam and Billie treated in hospital, would never have happened if they were not involved with the ITV2 reality show.

She told New magazine: "I don't think it would have happened if they were just normal girls. It does make me wish they weren't in the spotlight.
"I know they don't regret signing up but if I could turn back the clock, this would never have happened."
Wells continued: "Sam and Billie wanted to make people aware of what has happened. But they've had their schedule reduced.
"The Only Way Is Essex is about real life so, if what happened hadn't been acknowledged, the show would have looked like a sham."
