'The Only Way Is Essex' returns: Watch series seven trailer

It barely feels like its gone away, but The Only Way Is Essex is back this weekend with more romances, fights and fake tan on Sunday night.

Lauren Goodger bid the show an emotional farewell earlier this year, but old favourites Joey Essex, Sam Faiers, Mario & Lucy and Chloe Simms remain to provide us with plenty of drama and laughs.

We can expect more ups and downs in the romances of Sam & Joey and Mario & Lucy and nothing ever runs smoothly when James 'Arg' Argent and Gemma Collins are around either.

Details about the latest series are scarce because filming only takes place days before it airs. However, as this is the final run in 2012, we're sure the BAFTA-winning vajazzle gang will be doing their best to up the ante in the 'constructed reality' stakes and prove that they still rule the roost over Made In Chelsea and Geordie Shore.

The Only Way Is Essex returns on Sunday (September 30) at 10pm on ITV2.
