Childs's former colleague Lucy Mecklenburgh stated in an interview last week that she and other TOWIE stars are "getting sick" of the Celebrity Big Brother contestant's negative comments about the show.

"She left after series two, but all she does is comment on TOWIE," Mecklenburgh said. "It's really starting to get on all of our nerves.
"I don't think she realises how much she is annoying the cast and then she goes and says she'd like to be involved in a TOWIE movie. She needs to stop talking about us."
Childs has now defended herself in her New column, insisting that she only shares her "honest" opinions on TOWIE when she is asked.

"I just said that I found some of their storylines a bit boring, that's all," she wrote. "I've heard that the cast won't be very welcoming towards me if I were to return one day. That's really sad if it's true.
"I get asked my opinion on the show a lot and I've always been honest - some bits are brilliant, and some not so much. We're all entitled to an opinion. I think they must've forgotten all of the nice things I've said."
Mecklenburgh's remarks were in response to Childs arguing that the glamour model and her fiancé Mario Falcone should be axed from TOWIE.
