Joey Essex, Sam Faiers, Mario Falcone and Jess Wright will all be involved in the three new episodes of the ITV2 constructed reality series, which will air across December.
There will be a pre-Christmas episode, a festive special and a special live episode sandwiched in the middle.
"TOWIE Live - it's going to be reem... creepy sic... naughty! It's going to be crazy and you'll get to see everything as it happens... live, oh yeah!" said Joey Essex.
Sam Faiers said: "I'm really excited but so so nervous! It's going to be an amazing experience. Who knows what will happen... especially in Essex!"
Lucy Mecklenburgh said: "I don't know how we're going to do it! It's crazy. Personally I'm just really scared but I know it's exciting too!"
Tabloid reports have suggested that producers may attempt to lure former show star Amy Childs back for the triple bill of Christmas episodes. Childs hasn't been on the show since she quit to appear on Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother.
The BAFTA-winning series remains one of ITV2's biggest ratings hits and has helped launch the careers of Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger.
