10.00 Tim goes over to Kate at the patio to see how damp the towels are, and also shows Alex the back of his neck and his haircut; he and Alex agree that they're trying to make their hair look less 'mullet-y', and Tim also says he can't wait to get his hair cut by a professional when he gets out of the house.
10.02 Kate suggests bringing the dartboard outside for a game, but Tim doesn't think that's a good idea as the darts will go missing; Alex suggests letting everything go really dirty so they can earn themselves a reward by cleaning it up, but Tim reckons they'll get a mini-task anyway tomorrow.
10.04 Alex notices that Kate and Jade 'wear G-strings like there's no tomorrow'; Tim tells him that's the fashion these days, and says his girlfriend is likewise. Alex and Tim talk about Swedish models, with Tim stating that a friend of his girlfriend's is a very famous Swedish model.
10.06 Alex speaks of a model he met in Iceland calls Gueesley (spelt phoenetically), as Jonny gets a shower; Tim mentions how strange the Icelandic language is, in that 'they barely pronounce words', and the sound is dipped.
10.08 In the kitchen, Jade does some washing up as Kate returns indoors; Jade takes a knife to the sink and washes it up as crowd noise is played into the garden, which Tim and Alex seem to be talking about. Tim listens intently to see if her can hear any chanting, and wonders if anyone on the other side of the fence can hear him talking, as Jade tries to shoo a fly away with her tea towel.
10.15 Inside the house, Alex cuts some polythene sheeting and wraps it around his trainers, presumably to go into the chicken coop, while Jade wonders what darts game Tim and Kate are playing in the grotto; in the bathroom, Jonny washes his face and wraps a towel around his waist before plucking out some of his facial hair.
10.18 Alex is indeed in the chicken coop, trying to round up all the chickens and put them back inside their hutch; 'you've gotta go to bed', he tells them as they go into the hutch one-by-one. He puts the last one, Big Red, into the hutch, and leaves the coop altogether to return inside and take the polythene off his feet.
10.19 Tim sits on the sofa and looks very passive; he tells Jade he's going to go to bed at eleven, as Jade rues the amount of flies that come into the house whenever the patio doors are left open. Kate goes outside, and states that it's 'quite late' as she props up the back of the sun lounger to sit down and relax; she looks up at the sky, and looks rather thoughtful.
10.21 No prizes for guessing that Alex is in the grotto playing darts, as Jade and Tim continue to sit on the sofa looking very bored; 'you look deep in thought', Jade says to him, but he replies that he's 'just tired'. He also tells Jade that he tans easily after she notices how red his face is, and the sound is dipped as Kate continues to sit and think outside; she looks somewhat moved, truth be told.
10.24 Jade continues to talk inside the house, but the sound is dipped; when it is restored, she tells Tim about when she held a firework in her hand when she was young, lit it, and threw it into her mum's shoes, blowing a hole in both of them. 'She was furious, because my arm could've been blown off', she says.
10.27 'Hope this week goes quickly', Tim tells Jade, who asks him 'do you want it to?' (presumably he does, or he wouldn't have said 'hope this week goes quickly').
10.32 Alex and Tim are in the bedroom; Tim continues to wonder why people on the outside world don't like him, and Alex tells him the only thing he can think of is because he's well spoken. 'I keep thinking "sorry to offend you all"', Tim tells him, and also says he's shocked to be hated by people on the outside; Alex suggests that perhaps people don't like him as he's 'the new guy', but Tim doesn't buy that.
10.34 'I'd be interested to know why people don't like me', Tim says, and Alex tells him it could be for something as silly as using a handkerchief; 'it all mounts up', Tim says as he tries to establish the numbers that wouldn't like him for those reasons, and Alex again states that people may not like Tim for being well off and having nice things; 'I had the same problem when I was young', Alex states, and tells Tim to think of 'anything like that'.
10.36 Alex and Tim play darts as they speak; Alex is on 11 and Tim 13, while Jade speaks with Kate and Jonny outside about the provisions each of them will have from the shopping list. Kate states she's claiming two bottles of cider, and also notices that an extra box of cigarettes has been ordered for Jonny.
10.38 Jonny goes to see how many cigarettes he has at the present moment, and Jade decides to go back into the house too; Kate stays put on the sun lounger, and offers to give Jade her cardigan back. In the grotto, Alex leaves the darts match and Tim decides to play on his own regardless.
10.40 Kate and Jade come running outside from the bedroom as Jonny talks to them about 'emergency toilet roll' he's keeping, just in case; Kate puts some socks on as her feet are cold, and she blows her nose on some tissue as she starts to sing 'Fly By' by Blue. Jade says she could murder some chocolate now, and spits something out onto the ground for no apparent reason.
10.42 Jade mentions that a friend of a friend of hers used to date one of the guys from Blue, and Kate says she likes them as they aren't as cheesy as other boybands; her friend isn't convinced though. Jade notices that she's caught the sun today, but Kate again states that she's pasty; Jade bemoans the fact that they weren't allowed to keep the fake tan they were given earlier this week.
10.48 Jade remains outside on the lounger, seemingly sleeping, while Tim and Alex continue to play darts in the grotto; 'two wires', Tim says as Alex gets very close, while Kate and Jonny are in the kitchen. Jonny fills up the sink with water, and Kate blows her nose; she tells Jonny she's got 'eye bogies', and Jade comes back inside.
10.50 Kate continues to sing 'Fly By', with whistling from Jonny, and Kate tells Jade she fancies a coffee; Jonny tells her to put six teaspoons of coffee into the machine, as the darts game continues in the grotto. Alex wins his darts back; 'good darts', Tim tells him, as he wins his darts back again.
10.52 Tim comes to the oche and blows his chance, as Alex seals the game; they both go into the main area of the house, and Jade wonders whether she should put the popcorn she's eating back into the microwave to heat it up. She also says she might make another bowl, as the original popcorn is shared around the housemates on the sofa.
10.54 'Come and get it', Jonny tells Kate as she asks for the popcorn back; she says that Tim needs it, but he states 'don't you use me as a scapegoat!'. He realises that popcorn isn't fattening on its own, but Alex points out that the popcorn they're eating is toffee flavoured; he tells Jade how long to do the popcorn for in the microwave.
10.56 Kate says if it isn't nice tomorrow, she'll eat her hat; she tells Jonny she does have a hat to eat, and will eat it with sugar. Alex is reminded of the film 'Goldrush' starring Charlie Chaplin, in which Chaplin boiled a boot and ate it. Jonny opens the microwave door, and Jade tells him he'll spoil the popcorn by letting the air in; 'I just made that up', Jade says.
10.58 Jonny goes into a coughing fit as some popcorn goes down the wrong hole; he also considers lighting up a 'tab', and Jade tells him it's ten to eleven. 'Bedtime in half an hour', Tim says as Jonny states he can't decide whether he's tired or not; Kate also wonders why she's got a cold coming on as Jonny hears the popcorn popping in the microwave.
