4pm - 5pm

By
4.00pm: Ray asks if there's cheese to make cheese on toast; there is, so he makes himself some but Cameron doesn't want any as he's just had some toast. 'I don't feel like touching drink today', says Ray as Steph states that she could have one now; 'it's gonna be a long week', says Steph before Ray mentions that they've been without sun for a week and a half. Steph prepares to go outside as Cameron tells her that he'll join her; he also tells Ray that he was planning to use the spaghetti sauce for his lunch today as Ray expresses an interest in it.

4.02pm: Cameron tells Scott to rinse his bedcovers in the big bath after telling Ray that he's already had his diary room chat; 'it'll be easier to rinse the duvet cover in the big bath, that's for sure', Cameron syas before telling Ray to keep some cheese back for tomorrow's pork chops. 'I hope Friday will go according to plan', says Ray as Scott jokes that Cameron told him in his dream that he'd do his washing; 'I've got a top that needs to soak for a long time', says Scott as Ray comments that the cheese they have is 'terrible' for slicing onto toast.

4.04pm: Nush and Steph speak outside with the sound dipped as Steph files her nails onto a board, while Cameron tells Ray that he would've liked to have done a task and nominated this week; 'I'm gonna get me flip flops', says Cameron before asking Steph if she wants a chunky KitKat, Hula Hoops or a banana. 'Why don't we make banana fritters one night?', says Cameron as Ray wonders how it's made, while Scott wonders whether there's any ice cream left; Ray thinks it's all gone. Cameron proposes to make some soup tomorrow as Nush comes back inside; 'I need to move around to wake myself up', she says.

4.06pm: Nush comes back outside with Scott, Ray and Cameron as the sound gets dipped; 'I'll have beans on toast and two more malted milk biscuits for lunch', says Steph as Cameron tells her 'that's only a snack'. Scott gets the hose as Ray tells Nush and Cameron that the garden they cut 'is looking splendid', as is the bathroom; 'I haven't seen that', says Cameron as Nush tells Steph that it's quite humid outside. Ray comes back into the kitchen as Cameron closes his eyes; Scott asks for a hand in moving the tin bath as Cameron states that BB hasn't given him a ticking off for talking about the selection process last night.

4.08pm: 'We didn't even use code last night to talk about the process', says Scott as Cameron moves the tin bath over the other side of the garden; 'Onion's gonna get ya!', says Steph as BB calls Nush to the diary room. Cameron tells Steph that chickens probably don't respond to their names as Nush mentions that the courgettes are 'spiky' and she can't 'yank the courgette off'; meanwhile, Ray's expression in the kitchen suggests that he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Cameron and Steph continue to call towards the chickens, with little success.

4.10pm: The sound is dipped as Nush comes back from the diary room with materials to make leprachaun outfits; she also reveals that the hatch in the reward room is open and herself, Steph, Ray and Scott come running to the reward room to fetch some more cans of drink and cigarettes. 'We've been told what to put in and what to leave out', says Nush as Lisa begins to get up; Nush puts some of the cans into the fridge as Ray leaves the room to get his cheese on toast and Lisa comes to the reward room.

4.12pm: Scott pours some orange juice for himself and Nush as Lisa eats some nuts, while Scott comments that they have lots of beer left as he looks at the cans of drink - not sure what they are - that they've been provided with; Nush proposes to go back in the garden as Steph pours herself a pint. 'Those are real shears', says Cameron as Ray proposes that he can cover his England hat with green material to make a leprachaun hat; Nush comes outside and tells Cameron that the hatch contained cans of lemonade.

'Scott&Nush'; perhaps I'm being naive but I don't think the relationship between Scott and Nush is anything greater than friendship... Marie says: "Please everyone vote Cameron out. As mentioned by Irish Princess, the look on their faces if Lisa stayed in over one of the original HM's, oh it would be an absolute pleasure for me. Cameron has to go!" OK, but don't you think it'd be worth those who want Lisa to stay maximising her chances by voting for Steph?

Finally, Duffy e-mails with: "Get real Matt - Lisa hasn't done anything wrong huh! She has successfully pissed everyone off and annoyed most of the country so she deserves what she gets. Cameron and Steph are not lording it over the newcomer merely getting back at the constant Me Me Me from you know who.

Ray has been clever with his nomiations - putting up two of his strongest opponents in C and S as well as the one they all would have chosen to nominate. He wouldn't choose his closest ally Scott (though he is the strongest opponent at the same time and it would be interesting just to see the size of hisvote would be) nor the one he likes to look at Nush (though i wouldn't have been surprised if he had chosen her as Scott is getting closer to her but not wanting to read the signs for fear of rejection or for that matter acceptance!!!)." Keep your e-mails coming...

4.18pm: Lisa holds a wooden spoon as she sets the oven timer as Steph proposes to ask for green beards and make-up; she heads to the diary room to ask BB and helps Lisa to set the oven on the way as Cameron notices that they've been given 'lots of material' to turn themselves into leprachauns. He tells Nush that they have lots of carrots, which Nush proposes to make 'buttery and crunchy' before noticing the flowers on one of the plants; Scott arranges his socks to wash them properly as Nush calls to each of the chickens in turn, while Lisa stirs some flour in a bowl.

4.20pm: 'It won't be the same without fluffy beards', Steph says to Ray inside as they both get to grips with a large piece of green cloth they've been given; Steph cuts a length off and Ray does the same as Scott puts some detergent into the tin bath and fills it up with water from the hose. Cameron sunbathes and Scott sprays his T-shirt wet as Nush mentions that it's 4 o'clock; 'that's brilliant!', she shouts as Steph models the green poncho she's made for herself. 'You'll have to do the sewing', Ray tells Steph before taking off her poncho.

4.22pm: Steph wonders if leprachauns have catchphrases; 'top o' the morning to ya!', Ray says as Steph comments that someone she used to work with used to say that. 'You're making the outfit at super speed', Ray tells Steph as he bites off a length of thread and Steph continues to make cuts in the felt; Scott, meanwhile, gets another T-shirt to spray as Steph models her green poncho in the mirror before taking it off. Ray makes some more cuts in the fabric as Cameron tells Scott to 'sling that black lawnmower thing on the ground if you need some room'; he doesn't.

4.24pm: Scott tells the chickens to 'watch out' as he sprays another of his clothes, while Cameron closes his eyes and lays back as Scott starts to mangle his clothes dry; Ray cuts strips of felt with his England hat close by as Ray comes outside to look at something. 'How do you open this pot?', asks Steph as Ray shoos one of the chickens away; 'who's asked to go to the diary room?', Scott says as he takes some of his clothes to the bathroom to dry before heading back outside. Steph goes to the diary room.

4.26pm: 'It's tough to know what to do', says Scott and Nush agrees; Cameron continues to sunbathe as Scott goes into the bedroom and finds a green hat he can wear tonight. 'I've got to soak my clothes first though', he says as he comes back outside with the hose and a grey bucket in hand. He goes back inside the house to fill up the grey bucket as Lisa makes herself some tea; 'I've got loads of washing to do', Scott tells Lisa as Ray continues to make cuts in the green felt. 'Oh, for God sake', says Lisa as one of the oven trays falls out of its slot, while Cameron changes sides to sleep as Ray pins a strip of green felt to his England hat.

4.29pm: Lisa mashes up some tomatos with a potato masher as Ray continues to pin felt to his hat, while Scott fills up the bucket as Ray starts to sew the patch; Cameron remains asleep as Nush returns from the toilet. Lisa gets an item of cutlery from the drawer as Cameron stretches his arms and puts his hands behind his head as he watches Scott doing his washing, while Lisa cuts some onions rather haphazardly without having removed the skins; she opens the oven door.

Marie gets in touch to say: "Lisa & Steph to stay, Cameron to go. I'd rather Steph stay in the house a week longer than Cameron because at least Steph will have a drink and a laugh (in between bouts of bitching with Cam) what does Cameron do other than bitch, read his bible and state that drinking is not fun or clever..." I'm not disputing that Cameron would be a worthwhile choice to go, but would he be likely to? Not in my view, so therefore should people who want Cameron to go but Lisa to stay vote for Steph to ensure that Lisa stays? The vote could be split if people vote for Cameron, and Lisa could stay in.

4.36pm: Cameron is now sleeping with a jumper over his face as Lisa wonders why no-one got another block of cheese out of the fridge this morning, while Scott is playing billiards in the reward room; strangely, the table not only has no pockets but a sector at the end of the table seems to be coloured grey with the rest being green. 'That's a brave chicken', says Ray as he continues to sew patches of green felt to his England hat, while Lisa stirs the contents of a pan loosely as the sound gets dipped.

4.38pm: Scott puts the cue away to drink some more and read the contents of the laminate; he belches before leaving the reward room and walking to the patio doors with his white hat. 'Are you sewing it on?', Scott asks Ray as Ray pulls a length of thread taut and Scott begins to make cuts in the large piece of green felt; Ray tells him that Steph is in the diary room as Lisa puts some onion rings onto a baking tray, from the looks of it. Scott looks at his white hat with a vacant expression on his face and turns it around in his hand.

4.41pm: Ray tells Scott to sellotape the felt to his hat before Scott mentions that his hat isn't important to keep; 'I'll make a skirt', says Nush as she leaves the toilet and Ray proposes to call tomorrow St Patrick's Day as it's their last day in the reward room. 'How could we top it?', Scott asks as he gets himself a piece of thread, while Lisa puts some onion rings in the oven as Ray continues to sew a length of green felt to his hat; Lisa looks around the kitchen for some peppers and removes them from a tupperware box.

4.43pm: Nush tells Lisa that they haven't made clothes before; 'it's a skill you're gifted with', says Lisa as Nush comments that clothes making is 'easier for girls' as girls have an idea how to make them anyway. Scott proposes to turn his hat inside out to put the felt on it as Nush rips several strips of cloth from the main length, while Ray tells Scott not to prick himself as he fetches a needle and thread; Scott unfurls the thread before joking that they should be 'able to nominate the chickens next week'. Steph comes back from the diary room as E4 take a break.

'Scott&Nush' says: "U could have a point there Jason, maybe just good friends.Who knows something might happen outside the house but I think Scott's too shy or uptight to reveal how he feels for Nush. Nush needs to see the signs and know if anything is going 2 happens its in her hands as (1) Scott is useless with women it seems and (2) she has the boyfriend so the balls in her court all the time really. Don't u think?" You could be onto something there... Sam Vaughan doesn't have any sympathy for Lisa: "Lisa go what she deserved - getting nominated sad thought would have like to see who she would have nominated as she will never nominate cause it's bye bye lisa for me." and for a lot of others too, it seems; the DS:BB poll already has her out in front with 45%.

4.50pm: Cameron continues to sleep outside as Lisa watches Ray and Scott from the sofa with a cigarette in her hand; Ray and Scott continue to sew pieces of felt to their respective hats as Lisa asks when the material arrived. 'Half an hour ago in the diary room', says Scott as Nush sits against the wall and continues to sew her dress together; 'I could've done something to my other dresses but I wanted to make a different one - half of the fun is making it', says Nush as Ray states that it wasn't like that with the horses. Nush struggles to get a box of needles open as Lisa wonders how the hat of green felt would've stayed upright; Ray tells her that he'll keep the main hat on.

4.53pm: 'I've never seen a girl leprachaun', says Lisa as Ray comments that girl leprachauns have plaits; Nush isn't too keen on the idea. Lisa goes back to the kitchen as Ray wonders what Steph will have planned for her outfit; 'I'll just have a chat and then I'll be done', Lisa says cryptically as she goes back to the kitchen and rinses the washing up bowl, while Nush sews some pieces of felt together as Ray throws some loose thread outside; 'I'm gonna cut this rubber', says Scott as Steph tells Lisa that the pizzas usually need 15 minutes each in the oven.

4.55pm: Nush suggests that they have the pizzas for lunch and a late dinner as Scott tells Ray to be careful when walking around the dining area due to the needles on the floor; Ray looks for his needle and Scott helps him. 'There's one on the floor but there's another two in the box', says Scott as Ray states that he'll find it in a minute; 'in somebody's foot, probably', he states as Scott again tells them not to walk across the green rug barefooted. 'You've lost a needle in that?', Nush asks before stating that she needs some green eyeshadow.

4.57pm: 'I've got some spray glitter', says Nush as she proposes to put on 'bright blusher', while Lisa washes the carrots underneath the kitchen tap as Nush pulls herself another length of thread; Lisa begins to chop the carrots up as Nush proposes to make the costumes 'all day' to be ready for 'a big hoo ha' tomorrow. E4's coverage comes to a brief stop...

A few e-mails to round off with - Marie comments: "If I had my choice, I'd keep Ray and Lisa, kick the other 4 out and bring back Anouska, Jon, Federico and (dare I say it) Justine. That house needs some lively 'contraversial' characters and Justine may be a bit of a moose, but she was no srinking violet!" Absolutely, but it's easy to come to these conclusions with the benefit of hindsight... Heather, meanwhile, states that "Ray played the game well as if he had not nominated Lisa he would get more nominations himself next week. With putting Lisa up against Cameron and Steph he is making sure she goes. They are to popular to be voted out so really its a one woman race." It's a case of the 'self-preservation' factor that I alluded to on Sunday...

Duffy, meanwhile, wonders why Lisa was quick to complain in the kitchen: "Incidentally instead of complaining about "why nobodytook another block of cheese out of the fridge this morning" er hello! Why didn't you - you lazy so and so! - Oh i suppose that would have meant putting down the ciggy or drink long enough to wander to the kitchen and do it!". She was in the kitchen already to be fair, but it's a valid point; Duffy also explains the rules of the bar billiards game in the reward room, so pay attention...

"The game in the RR is called Bar Billiards with two versions as why the name bar. One being that it takes less space than the other biliiards table and hence called bar as it fits into most bars. The other definition is due to the bar which rons on clockwork and while theres time the players pit balls into the various scoring holes (the largest scores are guarded by mushroom looking things which must remain standing or you lose your turn) amd as long as you keep scoring you stay at the table. After a certain time the bar goes down in the table stopping any balls returning down the shuttes and so the number of balls diminshes until you have one ball left which must be sent down the highest scoring hole. The person with the highest total after all that is the winner." Now you know why it isn't shown on TV much...

Anyway, that's all for this afternoon - more at 8pm.
