22.00 - 23.00

 |  By
22.00: Kitten says that she's uncomfortable with being bound by power as she's spent ages trying to overcome it in society in general in terms of discrimination; she's always fighting against it and she's challenged by BB, so she's finding it quite difficult. "Maybe I'm playing a different game to everyone else", she says as she leaves the diary room.

22.01: Davina gives us a glimpse inside Kitten's pink suitcase, which contains tin foil which she wanted to put on some cameras, some pink earmuffs, a lot of cigarettes, some wooden flip-flops and a lot of clothes and underwear, the T shirts, a little Tweetie Pie and a sign from Belgium which Davina thinks is probably rude. Then the photos; a male friend in a dress and her girlfriend doing some DIY and "standing on a thing", Davina helpfully describes.

22.03: Back to BB as Victor says that BB is trying to get them all against each other; they're all told to get their cases and the housemates rush to the storeroom to get them. Marco quickly goes back to the kitchen as Kitten is left on the sofa, while everyone takes their cases from the storeroom and drags them into the main house.

22.05: Davina closes the show by plugging the forthcoming BB attractions; she gives us news that the first eviction has the twist that there are no nominations and the housemates will choose someone to be evicted, who will be put into a secret room to see everyone stabbing them in the back - and they'll get a chance to take revenge. At least I think that's what was meant by Davina's complicated description...

22.06: We return to the bedroom - where everyone is unpacking - and Kitten, who says that she isn't fazed by people going against he as it's still early days. Shell reckons that her stance will get her admiration as Kitten requests the wine to be opened; she tells Shell that she doesn't need a jumper but will tell her when she need something. Nadia gets some cream from her toiletry bag as Emma brings some wine to the lounge, with Michelle, Victor and Dan still unpacking in the bedroom.

E4 are showing us what we've already been shown, so time for a few more e-mails:

Browolf: "for someone who thinks they'll be "the most intelligent person in the house" stuart didnt seem to bright in the diary room"

Juicy: "Nadia is a howl. Kitten is going to have kittens when she finds out about her suitcase. lol" It didn't turn out that way, but that could be a facade...

Louise: "You say "which would seem to suggest that she wouldn't have got her suitcase even if he hadn't refused to nominate this evening"

But,....she probably wouldn't have been nominated by the others if she hadn't have been being such a stroppy mare at the time!" Well, I think a few of the reasons were based on events that happened earlier in the day and throughout the whole experience...

Peter Robinson clarifies that "Kitten recieved a total of 7 votes"; thanks very much, Peter.

The full tally is given by Peter too: "Kitten 7, Michelle 2, Ahmed/Macro/Victor 1"

James Boyle: "This is GOOD TV! I definitely think Kitten thinks she's been discriminated against, but I hate her not because she's gay but because she's so cocky!"

22.12: E4 is at the stage where Kitten has just found out that she won't be getting her suitcase and she's called to the diary room; interesting to note that when everyone offered to lend her clothing, Michelle sounded less than willing. With Kitty in the diary room, Jason talks about fainting at school as Victor clamours to get his luggage.

22.17: Shell and Emma tell Kitten that they can get cigarettes on the shopping list and Emma offers to lend her some of hers; "this is a screwy game", says Victor before calling the game "f***ing loose" while Shell mentions that BB is trying to "mess our heads up". Victor doesn't agree as Shell wonders whether BB was lying about the outcome of the task; "they're trying to piss one of us off and get them against everyone", he says as BB announces that the housemates can come and collect their cases.

22.19: Jason tells Marco that he's alright as Victor asks someone to push the door open, while Emma asks for someone to "get the wine open" as everyone gets their cases out of the storeroom. Emma tells Kitten that "you've got what you need, babe, so don't panic" as she drags her case to the garden with Marco; Danny dashes back from the bedroom as Emma puts the case by her bed. Vanessa wonders where they're supposed to put their clothes, while Nadia describes herse... uhm, sorry, the task as "f***ing freaky".

22.21: Everyone else bar Kitten goes into the bedroom as Emma opens her case upside down and everything spills out; "f***ing shit, man", says Victor as Jason is shown some of his clothes, while Nadia encourages everyone to have some wine - which Emma certainly agrees with. Vanessa tells everyone that she's going to the toilet; "I don't want to hear that from you as you're too much of a lady", Dan tells her. Shell wheels her case to the bedroom as Emma screams some more.

22.23: Both Stuart and Jason state their intentions to get hosed and "showered up", while Shell mentions that the camouflage cases are "cool"; Jason notices that Ahmed's bottle of wine is quite big as Emma tells everyone that her case contains her own pillow and towels too. "There's shitloads of towels here anyway", says Jason as the pictures cut to the garden; Shell opens her case as Vanessa offers to show her her photos; she's shown Vanessa's dad in Bermuda as Victor comments that electrical appliances were contraband for them to take into the house.

22.25: Vanessa shows Shell a photo of her brother and her friend Michelle in Australia as we are shown Dan waiting to go into the diary room; he waits but finally does enter by saying "hello BB". The rest of his conversation is cut as Marco is overheard speaking to Kitten about his picture on the board; Kitten tells him that the only thing she's upset about is not getting her cases as Dan goes back from the diary room to the bedroom.

22.27: "Look at that mother!", says Shell as she shows everyone what appears to be a large tub of peanut butter, while Victor comments on how "f***ing dry" his legs are and Shell puts a kind of band covered with red leaves in her hair. Michelle's impressed as Shell tells Vanessa about the logistics of Kitten not having her case, and no underwear or toothbrush; "I think there must be a task where she gets to win it back", she says before mentioning that she thinks the loss of suitcase is beginning to sink in to Kitten.

Some more e-mails, firstly from Richard: "i laughed my head of at victor saying "DAM I LOOK GOOD" and "i think shesnot all there"!"

DC: "Will the person evicted get to go back into the house once they have got revenge?" That's quite likely, DC...

Steven: "Kitten's attitude isn't doing her any favours, she's already unpopular and she's not likely to be in there very long if she doesn't stop purposely trying to stir it. Even the housemates were obviously annoyed at her during this task."

Michelle: "get rid of kitten she has a real problem and she is trouble"

David: "Does anyone have a translation of what Kittens sign said? Or can anyone remember what it said so I can have a go at translating it?" We'll see what we can do...

Mr Blonde: "The forum has crashed again... " We're sorry, but it can only sustain so much demand and we're working hard to get it back online.

22.32: We rejoin the house with Dan in the bathroom; he hangs one of his towels over the heated rack as Shell says that she's going to keep a secret supply of four luxury tea bags in case they get short later on. Victor wonders whether Emma is "putting so much slap on" as Nadia notices that she has the same Complan (I think that's what she said) as Emma; "how much did you pay for yours?", asks Emma as Kitten wonders which bed is hers.

22.35: Vanessa declares her intention to have a massive glass of wine as Marco drinks some of his bottle of wine and Nadia mentions chocolate, which Marco is quick to try; Vanessa observes that "there are quite a lot of red wine drinkers in here" as Shell notices that she's brought two bottles of wine in and two cigarettes. Stuart tells Nadia that he's brought in photos of his family and his "homeboys", which Victor takes a look at; "this was on a bit of a rugger tour", Stuart says about one of the photos as Victor wonders whether said tour contained any punch ups.

22.37: Nadia complains that she's lost something from her case and Vanessa complains about the "hard work" involved in unpacking her case, while Victor puts on a khaki baseball cap and Jason takes a look at Stuart's photos; Kitten, meanwhile, seems to be making preliminary arrangements with some of the girls to be lent some clothing as Jason is shown a picture of the people in Stuart's art uni course. "Is that you, there? You've lost a bit of weight since then", Jason says.

22.39: Stuart tells Jason that the photo was taken a year ago as he observes that one of his mates will be happy with him getting through to the house; Victor encourages Jason to get a drink with him and he picks up six bottles from the floor to bring inside the house. "I like that hat", Vanessa tells him as Victor looks for a fridge to put his beers and wine in; Marco also looks to do the same as Victor comments that he's been "waiting all day" to get his booze.

22.41: Stuart and Nadia are still unpacking in the bedroom as Emma says that she feels better having got her case and her possessions; she puts some mousse in her hair as Michelle comes into the bathroom to offer her a chocolate, which she doesn't accept. Stuart tells Emma that her hair "looks cool" as we go back inside the house to see Victor waiting at the diary room door; "I just want to say something but I'm in good spirits now the drink's finally arrived", he says as he sits on the egg chair.

22.43: Stuart wonders whether everyone will "get completely honest" as a result of the booze while Victor asks Vanessa why she wants to call him Nestor; "call me what you want", he says before complaining that the length of time he's had to wait to go into the diary room is "a joke". He waits in the kitchen as Dan pours the drinks, but doesn't wait too long as the light turns blue and he goes in, causing the sound to be muted; Kitten tells Emma that she might go into the diary room herself quite soon.

22.45: Stuart opens a bottle of wine as Kitten continues to wait by herself on the sofa with a cigarette in her hand; she seems a bit contemplative at the moment as she rubs the back of her head. Shell waits at the kitchen for drink.

Angie is further damning of Kitten: "Kitten is making it easy for the other contestants to vote her out. Deep down the others are intimidated by her "don't give a shit attitude!". What will she do next? I really want Kitten to stay in the house, because she is great viewing and she is a great topic of conversation."

Ben makes a good point: "bb said to all the housemates you cannot vote for yourself, and yet kitty refused to go to the bb room ,and so according to bb voted for herself? i call that very stupid, what bb should have done was to boot her out of the house and bring another housemate in." I did think that BB would call her back in again at the end and she would've gone, but I think a strike (if the strike system still operates) will not be long in coming.

Katie: "Kitten seems to spend a lot of time sat "alone" with her friends!!!!!!!!"

22.51: Back to the action, with everyone bar Victor now at the sofas with glasses of wine and beer in their hands; they all declare a toast as Victor does come over proclaiming that he's now wearing "clean shit", which is surely a contradiction in terms. The sound is dipped as Shell lights up and Victor continues to speak - his nomination reasons for Kitten may have put up up in a lot of people's estimations - as Kitten says that she has a drink.

22.53: Emma begins the singalong of "Old McDonald" with Michelle as Kitten says sorry to everyone, although it doesn't seem that genuine; "I haven't followed it but it's a good song", says Shell as Nadia asks for some straws. Kitten asks for a T-shirt to wear to go into the jacuzzi with; the response is a bit muted but Vanessa agrees to lend her something, so they both go off to the bedroom to get it.

22.55: The housemates talk about the shorts that they've brought in - with someone mentioning that they had some Tommy shorts confiscated - while Michelle mentions that her chaperone didn't give her the wine she asked for but Marco's did get him some champagne which he didn't like. "'Marco, we're not getting you drunk as we saw what you were like in teh auditions'", he claims his chaperone said to him as Michelle pretends to interview Emma about the donkey's in Animal Farm.

22.57: Emma makes the noise that the donkey's made in Animal Farm and everyone joins in, with Marco suggesting that they should rent it after they get it; "it's the end of a long day", says Stuart as she wonders if there are any more chocolate going. Marco mentions about Kitten sitting on her own disobeying BB in the hot tub; "the public could be going 'f**k, that's wicked'", he says as Marco states that he said "f**k off" when she said that. "Everyone's got their own agenda", says Jason as everyone agrees that the public would've wanted Kitten's behaviour.
