22.00 - 23.00

 |  By
22.00: Jason mentions that they won't get any alcohol tonight as Dan abandons the prospect of having an evening workout, while Victor mentions that "the idea behind the task" was screwed up as they would've been sick all over the place if they ate everything; "throwing up live on national TV", he adds as the sound is dipped. "F***ing crazy", he says as Stuart comments on the potential for a puking domino effect if they had wolfed everything down.

22.01: "We're gonna have to really start questioning what they're doing", says Vanessa outside as Marco signals his intent to not take part in any parties, while Vanessa comments on how much she's burping; "I don't feel well", Emma says groggily as she lays on the cushion outside and continues to groan. Shell is in the treatment room breathing steadily as she holds her stomach.

22.02: Shell smokes her cigarette and continues to breathe steadily as she says to herself "it's OK"; she has another puff on her cigarette as the camera zooms in to catch her rather maudlin expression. Shell looks up but looks quickly back down after it makes her a little more ill; she continues to breathe steadily and takes another draw on her cigarette. Shell looks in the mirror at her appearance and ruffles her hair before pumping her arms outwards and leaving the room.

22.05: "Oh God", says Shell as she pats her stomach; she knocks on (I think) the toilet door repeatedly before going inside and the sound is dipped. Shell retrieves something from the bathroom as she goes back to the treatment room and sprays preumably some air freshener within it. Shell goes back to the bathroom as Marco comes into the bedroom still mulling over what future tasks might hold.

22.07: "I still feel a bit sick", says Shell as Vanessa encourages her to have a piece of bread, while Marco continues to reflect on their good fortune in chucking the party food about with Ahmed; Michelle and Shell comment on the lack of reward in the tasks. "We'll have to keep fighting to keep our prize money - bastards", says Vanessa as she encourages them all not to trust BB; "we'll wisen up really quickly", she adds.

22.09: Vanessa notices that they're all reacting "exactly how they want us to react" and calls for some reassessment, specifically to plan some stuff "to really piss them off"; she tells Nadia about how they'll have to "see beyond" what BB has planned as Shell states that the roundabout has "really f***ed with me". She continues to look quite unsettled as Vanessa and Nadia reflect on their little spat earlier.

22.11: Victor offers everyone chicken nuggets and chips as Vanessa and Nadia take the offer, with the former continuing to speak of the house meeting they'll have to sort things out; "we'll do it in groups of two or three", she says as Nadia adds "they got what they wanted". Emma tells Nadia that she's feeling a little better as she turns down the offers of bread and a drink.

22.12: Victor asks Vanessa where the kitchen towel is as E4 go to a break.

Danny in Glasgow: "I bet the so called sensible housemates are glad now that the party food was wasted in a food fight, otherwise they would be feeling much worse! They need to lighten up! A house with just the 6 of them fills me with dread..." Good point.

Dotty: "They should forfeit another £1000 as Ahmed was facing inwards and not outwards as the laminate stipulated -come on BB you couldn't have missed that!" Well they did in the end.

Boris Becker: "I am bored with Big Brother now, that task was tedious in the extreme, so now I'm off to play my favourite tennis game to see Tim Henman win the French Open title, cheerio." That's one out of left field...

Jubbiouff: "when did the house mates discover a secret room???" Last Wednesday.

Allypally: "I feel sorry for Ahmed, he is turning into the laughing stock of the house"

Dave: "Why did'nt stuart pick michelle is that saying he does not love her.anyway that was a great task. c4 just got that task on before it ended [out of time ]"

Allypally: "Emma will milk this now for hours"

Alex Berrisford: "The roundabout should have gone faster, and no Davina! :( But the idea was good of BB." I think Victor hit the nail on the head when he said BB shouldn't have given them any shopping to force them to eat the party food.

Danny in Glasgow: "It's disgusting that Shell is smoking in the Snug Room. Can they not have a no Smoking section in the house? They seem to smoke everywhere else. I wouldn't put up with it. If they want to smoke in the living room that's fine, but at least give the non smokers a place to breathe. Shell even feels guilty as she is spraying something in the room to stop the smell..."

22.16: The aftermath continues with Stuart reflecting on "how ridiculous" he looked with his pads on in the diary room; himself, Dan and Shell comment on the trick "capital of Australia" question with Shell commenting that she would've known the Will Smith question. "You would've been a better candidate to go in there", says Stuart as everyone tells him that they had no idea they would've been asked questions.

22.18: "They're over budget as it is so they're getting the prize money down", says Dan as he reckons that general knowledge is cut down the middle; "Emma, who plays thick, absorbs a lot of stuff", he comments as Emma asks them all what "fact" means. "She's playing dim", Dan tells Michelle as he smokes his cigarette, while Emma tells Stuart that she only absorbs the facts she's interested in.

22.19: "I feel sick", says Shell as Nadia offers her some water which she doesn't accept; "you should've stayed where you were", Vanessa tells her as Nadia comments on how well Victor did to keep all the chocolate from the party. "That'll keep us going for weeks", Dan states as Victor tells them all he's hidden it all over the place; "he just cleared all the table!", Dan laughs.

22.21: Jason tells them all to get geared out for Saturday night as Dan mentions that he would be drinking - and Victor comments that he would be "pimping" - while BB calls the housemates to the bedroom as Marco and Ahmed talk. "I'll have something to eat later as I'm still not feeling well", says Ahmed as Emma tells Dan that she doesn't play up to her stupidity, while Marco dashes to get some bread from the kitchen as Emma and Dan continue to speak about general knowledge.

22.22: Shell continues to rub her stomach as she takes a drink from her bed, while BB tells the housemates to go to the bedroom immediately as Shell lays down under her duvet; "do you think I'm stupid?", asks Emma as she tells Dan that he's upsetting her by claiming that she's playing up to her stupidity. "I'm not saying that you're pretending", Dan says as Emma again claims that Dan's upsetting her by stating that; "it's the way you say 'what does that mean?'", he clarifies.

22.24: "At the after party my mum will tell you everything", Emma says as she wipes off the red sploges from her face, while Vanessa again speaks of the "mindf**k" they had today from BB, with them all "playing into their hands"; Stuart encourages them all to get wise as Emma mentions that giving them the food is "part of the fun of it" even though Dan comments that if they'd eaten it all, they'd have been sick. "Would you have thought it funny if you started hurling?", Dan asks - Emma says she would have.

22.26: Emma tells them all "don't be all superstitious" - when she means "suspicious" - about reading into BB's actions too deeply as it's stupid, but Victor says that her complacency could also be viewed as stupid; "I'm here for a laugh, not to get paranoid", Emma says before again mentioning that she would've laughed if she was sick on the roundabout.

Paul: "I want to f**k michelle" Your standards must be low...

Shaun: "Former President Ronald Reagan has died" Oh dear, "Mummy" will be upset...

Al: "It's suprising how many housemates have managed to keep all that party food down!" To be fair, they didn't eat that much of it...

Pinkstone claries the task "facing outwards" instruction: "Facing outwards was the instruction, I assume for maximum sensory disruption and our visual entertainment. Why give that instruction if there was no reason for it. Yes, some of the girl's bodies and heads were facing the direction of travel, but they were seated facing outwards as instrcted. Ahmed was seated/crouched facing inwards (towards the centre is inwards!)from his place in the circle. Why? To attempt to minimise the dizzyness he would feel. "

Paul: "Ahmed was acting a little suspicous alright, first he falls off, and then faces the wrong way. Why do I get the feeling he doesn't care about the prize money, or helping the other housemates. Get him out, he belongs in BB4!"

Dirdybirdy: "Was Stuart not going in weight order... LOL.. bet Nadia is chuffed... she is now officially the fattest girly in there... "

22.31: Victor scoffs some grapes as Marco suggests they take the opportunity with everyone gathered together to have their meeting; Emma defends herself about not cleaning up the garden as "that's for a giggle" while Victor wonders whether the same would be the case if he left skidmarks in the toilet. "It's a yes or no answer", he states aggressively as Emma says that they should for hygienic reasons in that instance; "we've got to live together and clean up after each other", Dan tells her.

22.32: "I had a food fight because I wanted to have a laugh - not for the viewers", says Emma before commenting that she thinks people are worried about being entertaining for the viewers; Victor asks her to name names but she doesn't, with both Dan and Marco commenting that they're not the people who think of that. "I'd have been in the food fight if it'd lasted longer", Dan says before commenting that on the first night, people jumped into the jacuzzi with their robes on and they were left alone stinking of chlorine.

22.34: "I shouldn't have had to clean that up", says Dan before encouraging them all to clean, while Marco deduces that that incident led Dan to think he would be left to clean up the garden as well; "I would've joined in but I would've liked five more minutes to look at it all", says Shell. She also comments that she wouldn't have liked the argument about it regardless, as Marco objects to Dan earlier moaning that he didn't do "f**k all" to clean.

22.36: Nadia mentions that people spoke to her and Marco condescendingly about cleaning earlier as Dan mentions that those who clean don't want thanks; "I can only put chicken nuggets in the oven and can't do anything else", Marco says as Shell mentions that people who cook and clean don't want thanks. "Don't curb the way you behave but take responsibility after it", Dan says to Marco as Vanessa mentions that she feels like a party pooper for not taking part in the fun.

22.37: "I think I can hold myself back and be realistic", says Vanessa before commenting that she saw the overview of the food fight and thought it should've been confined to a certain area; "when I think of things like that I hold myself back", she adds as Emma again tells Dan that she found his comment about asking questions by playing up offensive. "I'm really like that - I do it at work", she adds as Dan asks her "so you really are dumb?"

22.39: Marco mentions that he doesn't place an overly amount of importance on cleaning as it's not their home and they're only in there for ten weeks, with Dan stating his agreement for his opinion "but have some consideration for others"; Shell, meanwhile, comments that she feels she can't put her opinion across at times within the group without shouting like the rest of them.

22.44: Still in the bedroom, Emma again mentions that she doesn't want people to think she's playing dumb as "when you meet my mum you'll see we're all like that"; Dan offers her an apology and she takes it. "I never express my feelings", Emma says - and Marco states the same - as Dan comments that if they don't express themselves "the group breaks down". He adds that he did enjoy the food fight in the end as Marco comments that it boils down to them having more consideration for the members of the group.

22.46: Vanessa tells Marco to consider becoming more of a team player with regards to cleaning and cooking as Michelle keeps quiet, while Victor checks that everyone's alright as Dan checks whether Michelle is tapping her foot in an upset fashion; "I do that", Dan says as Michelle denies it, so Dan decides to sing instead. "I think we're having Straight Saturday", Michelle asks Stuart.

22.49: Stuart appears to be having his hair straightened as Michelle suggests he's trying to look like David Beckham, while BB announces that the bedroom is now open and Stuart suggests that he might have his hair curly tomorrow; "I still feel a bit sick", says Shell - and presumably so does Ahmed, as we heard nothing from him during that debate - as everyone exits the bedroom.

22.50: Vanessa tells Shell that she herself should've held her tongue as Shell comments that she was bothered "hugely" by the food fight but can't state her anger well; "I wanted to say 'you f**k me off' but I can't say it unless someone attacks me or someone I care about", she comments before stating that BB are trying to divide her and Vanessa. "This has been a total mindf**k and I desperately didn't want any divisions to happen", Shell says before telling Vanessa that she's a "shite arguer".

22.52: Vanessa complains that she couldn't argue with three people screaming at her as Shell mentions that she felt "really crap" about not being able to assert her anger; "I'll crack sometime and they'll create a situation to do that", she adds before mentioning that she doesn't want to feel divided from Vanessa, Jason and Dan. "I want to form some good friendships", she adds before stating that she knows she won't get on with everyone.

22.54: "I could see it getting to that stage today", says Shell before commenting on the "strength in numbers" and "working as a group"; she tells Vanessa that she didn't let herself down as Vanessa herself mentions that she shouldn't have shouted today - which ironically is precisely what Shell wanted to do today. "I've had to do that at work and I couldn't", she adds before stating that Vanessa's quality at dealing with things in such a no-nonsense fashion is one she admires.

22.56: Emma crouches down next to Shell and Vanessa as they continue to speak.

Arnold Rimmer: "BRING BACK KITTEN IT SUCKS NOW"

Clara: "Stuart? Intelligent? Come on, how many people got more questions right than him?" I did do a bit of a double-take when he said that Jimmy White was a boxer...

Cjedj, with quite an appropriate point given what we've just seen: "Is anyone else pissed off with Shell's self-righteous over analysis of everything, or is it just me? I'm sick to death of her trying to be so reasonable all the time..." Perhaps it could prove her downfall in the end?

That's it for now, but there's a DJ update coming up next...
