21.00 - 22.00
21.04: Dan gets a glass from the lounge table as Vanessa and Jason cuddle, with Michelle looking at both of them disapprovingly; Nadia, meanwhile, talks to Vanessa about "a family of pumpkins" as Shell comments that she likes pumpkins and Vanessa likewise with cashew nuts. Dan walks around the lounge as Jason and Emma both leave for the bedroom, with the sound dipped once more as they both return soon afterwards.
21.05: "Never mind car crash TV, that's suicide TV", says Dan as Stuart asks everyone if they think they're drinking less alcohol in the house than they are outside; most of the replies are in the affirmative, with Vanessa comparing it to a spell at a drying-out clinic before the sound is dipped once more. Stuart begins to sing as Victor and Michelle sing the "Balamory" song and Dan tells Stuart what "Balamory" is; "it's more surreal than this place", he says.
21.07: Shell speaks about a comedian she went to see - whose name is drowned out - but he was "a little bit camp throughout the whole thing"; his name is Miles Jupp, Shell reveals before mentioning that she saw her at a Glasgow comedy festival, while Nadia states that she likes Eddie Izzard and Lee Evans. Emma says that her favourite comedian is the guy from Phoenix Nights - and after being reminded that his name is Peter Kay, she proceeds to recite the auntie, Teletext and hand movement for holidays jokes.
21.09: "I saw him at the Edinburgh Festival", says Shell as Nadia comments that she likes Rhona Cameron; "she's not funny", Victor states matter-of-factly as the sound is dipped. Emma drinks some lemonade straight from the bottle as Marco comments that he likes the 3 Non Blondes and does an impression of one singing "Search For The Hero". Shell tells Jason to "get his mucky paws" off the food as Jason asks everyone how they want their steaks.
21.11: "I've never really cooked sirloin", says Shell as Ahmed comes to the kitchen, while Shell takes another puff of her cigarette as Dan states that he likes Ruby Wax; "she's amazing", Emma and Nadia say in unison as Marco speaks of his fondness for Jo Brand. Dan remembers her appearance on the Trinny and Susannah show as Marco reckons that she looks like the witch from the Little Mermaid; "everything comes down to the Little Mermaid with you", Shell tells him.
21.13: Emma recalls being told by a girl at her audition that she would strip off naked and she replied "what a brilliant idea", but she doesn't know if the girl actually did it; Nadia, meanwhile, asks Emma where she comes from as Emma reflects that it took her three hours to travel by train to the audition. Dan and Stuart comment on the trips to the Manchester audition they took themselves.
Someone With A Query does exactly what it says on the tin: "Has Nadia told any of the housemates that she's a transexual yet? I know that Marco and Jason have suspicions!" No, she's not told anyone yet.
21.18: The sound is immediately dipped as Vanessa addresses the rest of the housemates before Michelle chips in, while BB calls a housemate to the diary room and Nadia and Stuart leap over the sofas to sprint; Nadia wins as the sound is dipped again, but it seems that someone else got to the diary room first as Nadia is back seconds later. Shell smiles as the sound stays dipped.
21.20: Dan tells Jason that he doesn't want a steak and Michelle says that she'll just have some potatoes, while Stuart offers to go halves with anyone and Shell and Vanessa go halves themselves; "if you all want to be mad cows that's your problem", Dan jokes as Jason wonders why Ahmed has asked for a steak given that he said he didn't eat it because of mad cow disease. "I eat less of it but I still eat it", he says before commenting that he prefers lamb, while Dan informs Nadia what mad cow disease is.
21.22: Vanessa mentions that she likes liver as Dan tells her that spinach contains the same amount of iron, while Marco asks about the best foods to eat if you're anaemic and Vanessa mentions that she gets tired if she doesn't eat enough iron; "my eyes become quite light too", she says as Emma shows Vanessa her pale eyes and wonders if she's getting enough iron. "You are so nicer than you were that day", Vanessa says as Emma leaves the sofa to put a different top on.
21.24: The sound is dipped again as Jason gets the steaks cooking, while Victor is heard speaking about a guy who was evicted and "booed the next day" but his mic is quickly faded out; he then speaks of a guy who was a "weirdo" and the sound is fully cut as Dan reminds Victor not to speak about past housemates. Michelle chats to Nadia about a "funky" story that she won't tell until they're out of the house, while Nadia comments on how "peckish", she feels.
21.26: "Let's congregate", Michelle says as she heads off to the dinner table, while Victor again speaks of getting caught "mid wipe" as everyone gathers at the kitchen worktop; "ooh, yummy", says Shell as Jason mentions that they had six steaks and some will have to be cut in half. "We should've got ten steaks", Marco complains as Jason tries to remember the veggies in the house, while Stuart says that he's not going to eat off his personal plate as it's weak.
21.28: Marco encourages Stuart to eat off Kitten's plate as Jason and Vanessa jokingly argue about whether her steak was supposed to be rare or medium; Shell begins toi dish up as Marco asks for just some peas with his steak.
Shaun: "I think that the only person that will be shocked will be Victor as he will look like a plum as he says he could spot a tranny." Didn't he previously air his suspicions about Nadia though?
Glory, meanwhile, doesn't think Nadia will let on at all: "Not sure if Nadia will tell. She had he opportunity to when she was in the garden with Marco and Emma and they asked if she'd like to be a man for a day. She squealed in horror and told them she was too girly. She could have said "Hell no I used to be one" and they'd have taken it as a joke."
21.34: The housemates are sitting down to dinner as Stuart tells Shell he's happy with the steak he's got; Shell continues to give everyone their steak as Michelle, Marco and Vanessa get stuck in. "We can finally switch off the portable oven", Shell says as Michelle eats her roast potatoes and Stuart dishes up some more roast potatoes for Shell, who is quick to acknowledge Stuart and Victor's role in cooking the vegetables.
21.35: Victor and Emma sing LL Cool J's "Loungin'" as Jason cooks the veggie sausages and Shell encourages everyone to share the remaining roast potatoes around, wtih a large crash of plates heard - don't worry, Ahmed's nowhere near it - as Marco comments on how lenient BB has been with them about the food. "My chap' gave me this recipe", Shell says as Victor is told where the mayonnaise is; "I'm well hungry for this", Stuart says.
21.37: Victor hums the theme to "The Professionals" and asks if everyone remembers it, with Shell remembering "The Man From Uncle" and Marco commenting on "Cagney And Lacey"; everyone hums the tune as Shell comments on "Columbo" and "Diagnosis Murder", while Victor speaks of "Ironside" and "Quincy". Jason notices the large amount of washing up they have to do as Victor asks if anyone wants more steak well-done; he remembers that he's got his knife and fork already.
21.39: Jason further offers up the remaining steak as Ahmed eats his, while Victor comments that he's "star-ar-ving" as Marco and Shell compliments him on his meal; Victor asks for the pepper and mayonnaise as Nadia mentions that it feels like a Saturday, which everyone agrees with. "I feel like I'm having a good meal and getting ready to go out on the piss", Shell says as Victor states that the "burger bar from hell" has closed down.
21.41: Shell mentions that seeing them all on the plasma screen reminded her of "home movies" as Vanessa states how "ridiculous" they all looked, while Stuart wonders what games they can play this evening as we get a close up of Ahmed's curious way of eating his roast potatoes. Discussions on the games continue, with Jason offering to be a judge of the wet T-shirt competition; "only if you're wearing wet boxers", Shell says as Vanessa mentions that she's full after "wolfing down" dinner.
21.43: "Next week'll be bread and water", says Marco as he gets some more roast potatoes; "I like the crunchy ones", he says as Jason comments that the meal is the nicest one he's had in the house so far. Marco drinks some orange juice as Vanessa states that she will do some exercise tomorrow no matter how little she's able to do, while Nadia can't believe how much she's eating at the moment. "I'm eating from my vagina at the moment", Shell says - quite a mental image, that...
21.45: Nadia jokes that her breasts are too small before mentioning that she doesn't like the word "tits", while Jason asks her how big her breasts were before she had them done; she doesn't answer and instead mentions that she came to the decision to have implants when "they didn't grow". "I can't imagine you with small boobs", Michelle tells Nadia as the latter continues to be coy.
Question Answered elaborates on Victor's opinions of Nadia: "Him, Stuart and Jason had a conversation about it in the bedroom the other day and while Jason thought she was a transexual Victor claimed she was too classy and too stylish. Shows how much he knows!"
Lea: "Will the two in the bedsit be able to see the others in the diary room?" I would suggest not as the diary room is a confidential area anyway, but I wrongly suggested that the bedsit housemates would not be able to nominate, so it's wrong to assume anything at this stage.
21.50: The housemates continue to polish off their meals as Marco looks at a piece of gristle he's got left, but Victor likes it so he eats it for him; "I eat anything", Vanessa says as she mentions that she eats the fatty bits too. Jason gets up from the table and observes that the bedroom is in a state; "you'd think a load of f***ing students lived there", he says as Vanessa suggests that they wash their own personal plates to handle them with care.
21.52: Marco speaks about his friends in the halls of residence as Shell mentions that in the flat she shared with another student, she used to spill his pots of black ink all over the place as she couldn't see without her contact lenses in; "he was a really good painter", she says as Stuart asks her whether she wants the rest of her parsnips or not. "Yum yum yum yum", says Nadia as Shell states that she's totally full.
21.54: "I can't eat anything else", says Vanessa as Jason and Ahmed bring the plates over for Vanessa to soak in the sink, while Ahmed tells Nadia that he's alright as Jason comments on the massive amount of cheese and tomatoes they kept from the fast food task; "I enjoyed cooking that", Shell says before mentioning that she felt bad for taking over in the kitchen even though it relaxed her. Vanessa tells her to get one of her own cigarettes.
21.55: Vanessa continues to roughly wash up the dishes as Marco offers to lend her a hand, but she refuses, while Dan tells Jason how much he enjoyed the meal and how it's made him "feel much better"; he wonders why the fake tan hasn't worked yet as Jason and Vanessa tell him that it'll take a little longer to have any effect. Jason dries up and Dan gets a wet cloth to wipe the work surface down with.
21.57: "I'm glad we got surfaces back again", Dan says as he pushes the crumbs off the hob and into his hand before throwing them away; "excuse me six foot blonde", he tells Vanessa as he wets his cloth again and sprays the worktop with some cleaner before, well, cleaning it. He hums as he does so as Jason continues to dry up; he tells Vanessa that he's "shy about showing my body" when she brings up the subject of the mud wrestling.
21.59: "I'd rather have a nice bath and relax than get covered with shit", Jason tells Vanessa as they continue to dry and wash up respectively; Vanessa tells Victor that she can't be bothered to mud-wrestle as she's clean and quite tired.
