Welcome back to DS:BB Live Updates. I'm Claire and I'll be taking you through the next few hours with Lite updates. To spice things up a bit please send in your emails about your views, comments and gossip regarding the BB house and bedsit, and I will put them up where possible.
17:00 - 17:15
All the housemates, other than Marco, who is in the jacuzzi, are working on making their mascot costumes. Stu's has a pink bunny rabbit head and actually looks pretty good, despite being so efeminate. Ahh, my mistake, Victor is also relaxing, rocking in an egg chair. Stuart tries to wriggle into a tiny tight pink top he has made - there is no way he's going to be able to get into that in 30 seconds! Nadia seems to have just pinned her flag to the back of a t-shirt, like a train. Vanessa is sewing.
Stuart has sorted out his dance he says, as has Nadia who will do a typical Portugease dance.
Nadia has made a top with Maderia on the front, tying up at the back, from a bit of white cotton - it isn't just a t-shirt as I first thought.
In the bathroom Jason is shaving Victor - maybe so he can get some hot water? He seems to be leaving a little goatee. Victor, for once, is not wearing a hat, and actually looks pretty cute :) Victor says "this is my first proper actual shave".Jay is being very thorough and taking great pride in his work. Victor is chuffed with the result "smooth as a baby's bum!" as Jay get's Dan's scissors to trim the goatee as Shell comes in to brush her teeth and admire the results. She comments how good Victor looks without a hat. - I agree. All finished and Victor admires his new look in the mirror.
17:15 - 17:30
Outside Stu has joined Marco in the spa. They are discussing how to cook the salmon they are having for supper with Shell who sits on the edge of the spa - no doubt Michelle is fuming at her closeness to Stu. Nadia is sat on the decking in her costume - it also includes bright green knee high socks - most fetching!
Vanessa complains that Jay is looking at her whilst she is sewing, Dan complaining it's because he hasn't had sex in so long. The sound dips.
Something has happened in the spa causing Vanessa to sigh "oh, nice one guys". Victor, back in the safety of his hat, has come outside. It seems the boys in the spa have managed to work out how to get the pressure jets on as Stu says they are great massage for his back.
Leon: "New to this...is the phased Euro 2004 task a sign of them going back to the topical idea tried in BB3? That task worked quite well, and housemates seemed pleased earlier this afternoon to be given something that to them is interesting..." It certainly is topical, but not sure that will continue or if it's just a one off. They do seem to enjoy having something to do, but then wouldn't you?
Victor compliments Nadia on her outfit which she has now removed. We are then treated to a close up view of the soles of Stu's feet as he rests them on the edge of the spa - lovely. Jay is wandering around topless drinking tea and says "nice to see the slick man looking good for the chicks, you know what I mean". Hmm.
Shell is giving Victor a facial - she discusses what products to use, whether he needs it scrubed or not as his skin is so soft. She looks quite professional as she applies cleanser.
Anonymous asks: "I just wondered who you're 3 favourites are, and the 3 people you don't like are at this stage of the game.
My 3 favourites are:

My favourites would be Dan, Stuart and Shell, least favourites Marco, Michelle and Emma.
17:30 - 17:45
Shell does a good impression of a beautician, making small-talk with Victor about his holidays as she tries to beautify his facial features - there's only so much cosmetics can do Shell, so don't be too disappointed eh! Nadia rests back on her hands seductively in only her black satin robe watching the pampering take place. She has been waiting for the loo, thinking Ahmed was in there when infact he's in bed.
Rach: "I just want to say thank you Claire for you're in depth updates. I couldn't live without them!" Glad to be of service - but mind you, when I'm up to as many hours as Neil's done today I think you'll find mine become a bit brief too :)
Victor's facial is finished with him saying "that..... was.....excellent" - seems like he enjoyed it then.
Bedsit land - Michelle remains glued to the screen whilst Emma is wandering round looking for something to eat it seems. Michelle pulls a face as if unhappy with her thoughts. Her eyelida droop a little as she stares at the screen.
Back to the house - Shell is helping Vanessa with her costume. Sound is dipped. Stu is now out of the hot-tub. He starts dancing - presumably this is his team boogie? They briefly discuss that it has to be 10 seconds long and we catch a glimpse of Shell practising hers.
In the bedsit Emma is speaking with her mouth full so I've no idea what she tried to say. She is eating toast.I just make out Emma asking where Nadia is - even Michelle asks her to repeat it. She is chewing with her mouth open - it's very disgusting, I hope none of you watching are having your tea :( Emma is hassling Michelle to eat - Michelle tells her they don't need to stick to meal times as it's just the two of them so she should get tea when she wants it, not wait for her. Emma must have just had a nap as she tells us she feels much better.
17:45 - 18:00
Shell is now giving Stuart a facial. They are talking about the hotdogs you can get in Ikea. Victor reckons it's the only good reason to go there, for the hotdogs at the end. Vanessa is going to try on the costume she has made which is nearly finished. Victor says his is "no frills" just a t-shirt and shorts. Stu's dance routine sounds complex with 5 diferent dances involved. Shell hasn't finalised hers yet. Jay is going to incorporate some Saturday Night Fever moves, whilst Victor wants to have some Nigerian influence in his.
Ahmed emerges and cheerfully says "hello everybody". They all comment on how hot it is - well here it's 31 degrees, so I guess it must be pretty warm in Elstree. Someone offers to make Strawberry milkshakes - Dan declines.
Dan's No1 Fan:"Sorry to be a pain but is Dan visible? Which country is he representing?" he's around but I've not seen or heard him talking about his team/costume.
Shell has finished Stu's facial but continues running her fingers through his hair. She see's Vanessa in her costume and says it looks fab - we don't get a look though.
Billy Phatu: "I like how Big Brother can change the morale of the group in an instant: from depressed and on the verge of rebellion after the live task, to concentrated on and excited with the football weekly task. Big Brother has taken the housemates on a rollercoaster of emotions - and it's only been a couple of weeks!" Cetainly has been a rollercoaster - see my article "Oh what a night" about how extreme emotions were last night.
BB4: "According to today's TV listings Dermot will be chatting to the newley evicted HM on BBLB today at 18:00. Isn't that going to be a bit difficult see as we never had a 'real' eviction on Friday.". The listings you are looking at must be old - BBLB is live on E4 at 6pm, repeated on C4 at 11:05 pm. The highlights show is on C4 at 10pm (all according to the press release from C4 sent this morning).
BB4: "I love the bedsit idea, watching Emma and Michelle watching and commenting on the other HM's is brilliant"
Shaun: "Why are these live updates shorter? I know they are lite versions but there are to many of them" They aren't shorter - just like the full updates each one covers an hour. Are you complaining we do too many? :p Most people complain the opposite :D
Ahmed has been handing around a bowl of some sort of nibbles to everyone, even Marco.
In the bedsit Michelle is complaining about the smell of tuna "it's just fish man, freaks me out, totally freaks me out". I think Emma must be preparing her supper. Michelle is chewing her false-nails as she remains glued to the screen.
I'm just going to take 10 minutes break to stretch my aching limbs and grab a cuppa, then I'll be back with the next hour of coverage.
