Reality TV Live Updates

10.00 - 11.00

By
Good morning! Welcome to another day of live updates here on DS:BB. Daniel here, taking you through the next two hours of action in the house.

Some emails to catch up on...

Rod: "Here here...... Totaly agree, Victor needs to go and face the mob tomorrow.... He is nothing but a chauvenist bully, with a slum mentality... So much for representing the african and caribean society? Does not say very much for iether society....I would hardly hope he was a typical candidate?"

A.J.: "Victor to go. He is playing such a game. When he is angry, I think he shows his true colours. He has a very dark cruel side to him. He is a good laugh when he is playing the game. He frightens me when he is not."

ad63uk: "Why is it that when ever i see Victor and jay talking all i can think of is the old Les Dawson sketch about the two old washer women in curlers that are always hitching up there boobs (similar to the Bounty kitchen roll adverts)"

cazza: "I just want to say that if there is a shock eviction and if it is a quiz then i think that is very unfair for nadia as she might not know alot of ur general stuff ie (didnt know how to spell balloon as its not the same for her country), Do they just want to get the bookies fav out early? Dont get me wrong she not my fav but i just dont think its very fair. What do other people think????????"

NewKidOnTheBlock: "A quick message for "Nick" who posted on the 21:00-22:00 slot - it's no good berating people on facts when you don't know the facts yourself. Factually, Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote the MUSIC for Pie Jesu, not the lyrics, for the musical Requiem, which had absolutely nothing to do with the passing of his own father, but was in fact dedicated to all those people who have lost their lives in Northern Ireland - so there! NADIA TO WIN!!!!!!"

Becca Belch Wales: "I think Victor is an absolute w***er! The sooner he's out the better!"

carolyn: "Victor is not a bully and he is intelligent. Shell is a snivelling wimp sucking up to the cameras. Vicotr was in a bad mood with everyone on the day. Why should Shell think he was angry with her in particular? A guilty mind perhaps. Because she knew she had nominated him! Would you like to be called a f****** C*** for no reason - I think not!"

10.00 - 10.15

Dan and Stu are in the garden. In the last few minutes, Big Brother has tried to wake the housemates by playing the song "Hit the Road Jack" (which just reminds me of last night's episode of 24), but then gave up on that idea and decided to play the screaming baby alarm instead.

Anyway, Dan and Stu chat about the lack of milk, and then we go to ads.

Dan lies in the sun with his hat over his face. Nadia sits near the edge of the jacuzzi. It's oh so quiet... Stu's still in the garden, and Michelle is sitting next to Nadia.

"I think we should have a picnic one day," Michelle tells the others. "Will you go on a picnic with me, Stu?"

"Do you prefer dried fruit to fresh fruit, Stu?" she asks. Who cares? Stu asks why she wants to know and she doesn't even have an answer.

Shell comes out and joins the others. They all say good morning and she tells them that she had a nice shower.

Michelle's ordering Stu around about something or other. Big Brother now plays the drill alarm.

kippykatz: "Hi Cazza. I agree with you totally. There is no way it would be fair to Nadia to ask her to take part in a pub quiz to stay in the game. If BB go ahead with this I will be protesting. Maybe we should get the site to set up a protest !"

Elsie: "Just wanted to agree with Cazza about the 'pub' quiz style eviction. It could mean the end for both Nadia and Stuart 'the brightest housemate ever' Wilson. "

Elsie: "Thoughts on last nights Ch4 catch-up. Victor may be intelligent but he's not perceptive. I'm not a huge fan of any of them to be honest but think that Dan handled Victor extremely well, allowing Victor to shout himself into a corner. Jay played himself well, keeping quiet and civil, and Victor has probably just saved him for being evicted this week. Did anyone else noticed on last night's catch up that they didn't bleep out Shell's 'c' word swearing, but they did beep it out when Victor said it. "

Rudy: "Jay has slid into the background, just watching Vic make himself look bad by yelling, etc. If Jay stays and Vic leaves the show will go down the tubes!! Victor IS BB5! I think he is the funniest person in the shows history. I want the JCs to win, but I dont want Jason to survive at Victors expense..."

Clive: "Watched BB again today of the wedding party. Actually, Victor did try to stall Shell till after the task (it was Shell's mistake that caused the 4th mistake of the task, and thus the task fail). But he was still using confrontational language so all in all I think they are both naughty little people and deserved their warnings. Shame that Victor's should have been about his 6th official and therefore out on your ear mate warning. Poor Kitten, she must feel totally victimised by BB."

Superape: "Victor is not intelligent. He seems to think the word 'transpire' means the same as 'transgress'. His DR conversations are littered with evidence that he isn't as smart has he thinks he is. His whole attitude yesterday was arrogant & self-centred, as if he is the most important person there. He has soooo bought his ticket out tonight. J & V are so obsessed with 'game plans' & strategies that it hasn't occurred to them that the other HM's may actually just be getting on with it & not planning anything. Shell may have over-reacted, but good on her for calling him a fucking c**t - he is ;O) Victor to go - he made Shell cry, which kind of brings out the silverback in me ;O)"

Lou: "And Jay agreed. "We're not bad guys... we've got manners, respect..." he assured himself.

"We don't go trying to make people's lives a misery," added the all-round mega top bloke. ..... this is a quote from BB website. What planet is Jason on, these are precisely the reasons we don't like him, because he has none of these traits."

Kate: "Totally agree with Carolyn's comment - Vic had already warned Michelle he was in a filthy mood and not to take it personally. Shell was p***ed and took things far too personally, egged on by Michelle who already knew about Vic's bad mood that day. Not that I agreed with Ahmed shirking the Boot Camp task, but no-one had a go at Shell like they did to Ahmed. And I would definitely be livid if someone called me a c***!!"

10.15 - 10.30

We return from ads to find Big Brother now playing the bagpipes alarm. How long before Michelle starts humming along to it?

Stu tells Michelle about a dream that he had last night involving a spirit and some soldiers. Michelle comments that his dream sounds like a movie. Michelle pretends to be interested and strokes his hair.

Michelle starts talking about a dream that she had last night involving her sister, but then Stuart describes another dream that he had about a boarding school. "Cool, you dreamt a lot last night then, didn't you?" she comments. How long before she asks him why he hasn't been dreaming about her?!

"Are you alright my darling, are you alright?" Michelle asks, obviously forgetting that Stu has given her no reason to think otherwise.

The alarm is still going off.

Now they discuss their favourite animals. Stu's favourite animal used to be foxes, but he doesn't really like them any more.

Bedroom. Jason and Vic are still in bed, unphased by the alarm. BB gives up on the bagpipes and tries the foghorn.

Back to the garden, and Michelle mentions her picnic idea again. She tells Stu that she doesn't mind if he goes off to do his sit-ups, but Stu informs her that he's not doing them for a while yet.

"I love sunny mornings," she tells Stu. Stu does his usual "Ehh" in reply, which usually means he doesn't know what to say.

Dan's no 1 fan: "Ok, I had heard about Victor's explosion on Wednesday night, and I hated Victor from the start, but after watching it last night I hate him soooooo much more! Unfortunately I think Jason has too many votes to stay in now, but If everybody votes for Victor to be evicted today we can turn the tables. Come on, do the right thing!"

bb addicted: "Just want to say...Dan is a legend! Last night when Victor (GET HIM OUT!) was ranting at him and said 'why don't you go and jump in the jacuzzi?' and without a moment's hesitation Dan replied 'Because it'll bleach my suit.' GENIOUS!"

Emma: "Nadia has been living in England for 7 years so she should have some general knowledge - if they ask questions like how many kids does david beckham have for example - she should know things like that!!!!"

Heather C: "I agree with Kate's observation, Vic did warn Michelle he was in a bad mood but why should the other HM have to pussyfoot around him he should rise above it and just get on with it! I did laugh though when Shell over reacting as usual stormed in calling him a cant!!!! It really doesnt suit her swearing and getting her knickers in a twist! She just doesnt know when to shut up either Vic kept asking her to stop earlier and they would talk later but no she just had to keep going on and on I think I would have snapped! Keep Victor in this week at least purely for entertainment value what will he do with out his buddy plus his diary room coment really make me laugh!"

Fran: "I think Jay should exit thje big brother house tonight, his time is well and truely up. Nadia SHOULD win!"

Londoner: "Victor is very clever as he is one of the only one who is playing the game properly how it should be, DAN to go."

seank: "Have to say that Vic is a complete bully. He only picks on the women in the house and knows that its the threat of him going off that frightens them rather then the actually arguing. We all saw his behaviour on day 20 and he should of left the house like Emma did but for some reason BB decided that his behaviour is acceptable. In fairness I think the ITC will have several issues to take up with the producers on the behaviour of the housemates - bring back the fun BB's of Brian Dowling and Kate - who entertained us with jokes and messing - yes they had fights but this year they have characters who are v domineering and I think its a bad example to be setting on what is an acceptable way of treating another person. I hope that Dan or Nadia take the prize and that BB6 returns to fun"

10.30 - 10.45

Now we have the car horns alarm going off. Michelle joins in! =(

The alarm stops and Michelle wonders whether they'll call someone into the DR to wake them up, or play another alarm. "Didn't you just wake them up, Dan?" Stu asks. Dan explains that he did, only to be told by Jason that he will get up when he wants to get up.

Car horn alarm returns. Dan gets up in the garden and looks as if he means business. Oh no, the alarm goes back off again, and Dan sits down.

Michelle is still stroking Stu like he's her pet dog.

Shell is in the bedroom getting ready. "Oh, its a beautiful day," Jason comments. "It's lovely outside, it's really warm!" Shell replies.

"This is a big eviction," Victor warns Jay. He says that the two "big guns" are up. He's going to have a few siestas today, and Jason agrees that it's just a way of passing the time.

Shell is doing the battery change. She tells the others that it's her Mum's birthday today. Shell's Mum, if you're reading, happy birthday!

Fran: "I agree carolyn, nobody should be told their a "F*****G C**T" for NO reason, but he was being a prat as usual."

Pierre: "For those of you out there who does not like Vic is there something you are all afraid of and hide behind any escuses to make your racial intention known?. I don't pticularly like the guy but i should not trest him any less than i would any other housemate. You all need to live in the real world where Men and Women are equal and any behaviuor between the two should be treated as a behaviour between two human beings."

Suze: "It's all very well people worrying about how Nadia will cope with a gneral knowledge quiz, but I think they should be more worried about Stu "what's a dumpling?" Wilson. He's got no chance...." To be honest, I would be very surprised if they did do the pub quiz eviction. I get the feeling that these insiders leak possible scenarios to the press in order to see how the public react to the ideas.

10.45 - 11.00

Michelle is fixing her hair in the garden, still chatting to her chicken.

They're discussing boat journeys. She says that she's been to Zakynthos (so have I) and explains to Stuart where it is. It was a "scorching" day and so they organised a boat trip. Michelle stops and makes sure that Stu actually wants to hear the story. However, they're interrupted by Nadia.

Now the whole group talk about the favourite songs that they put on their application forms. Shell says that they can't be playing them when the housemates leave the house, as they would have heard. The others tell her that it's for the best bits, but she points out that in one series (BB2), they played songs as the housemates left the house.

Michelle carries on with her story. Her friend was being a pain and was whinging about the "strip" that you have to walk on to get on the boat. She discusses the beautiful colours of the water. She explains that there's a beach with an actual shipwreck on (I've seen it!) in Zakynthos and that you always see it on the postcards.

"Every time I go on a boat, someone's sick next to me," she tells him. I'm sure it's nothing personal, Michelle.

Michelle's story continues, but she admits that she's getting confused between all of the different boat trips that she's been on. She talks about one that she went on while she was in Tenerife.
