Stephanie evicted!

Stephanie has been revealed as the first housemate to leave the Big Brother house.

When Davina announced that the 19-year old will be leaving the show, she started crying and said: "Can I go now? I just want to go."

The rest of the group took turns to give the Scouser a hug, while Alexandra told her to "calm down" after feeling that she was shaking.

Davina took the unprecedented step of announcing the eviction from within the studio as the crowd outside were chanting: "Get Alex out!"

She said producers had taken the decision to make sure housemates "do not know what is happening on the outside".

The group gave Stephanie a round of applause before she left the house to a mixed reception.
