Couple buoyed by eviction success

Big Brother couple Mario and Lisa told housemates tonight that they have their own fan club.

The revelation came after they escaped eviction, with Stephanie instead being the first to be voted from the house.

Dennis and Alexandra both said they heard people in the crowd chanting in support of the pair.

Alexandra said: "When it was all silent, they screamed out: 'Go Mario and Lisa.'"

Mario said they had a "fan club" in their hometown, while Lisa said Mario had done a lot of good work for charity.

"I know so many people throughout the country, throughout the world," Mario told Mikey. "We’re talking fan clubs and everything."

Mario later admitted that he wasn’t surprised by the result of tonight’s eviction, but added that "you can never be sure".
