Darnell tells Mario: "You're a beast"

Darnell and Mario exchanged heated words as their new music task began this afternoon.

As the self-appointed 'most musical housemate', Darnell was given the conductor’s responsibilities, including overseeing the group’s rehearsals.

Mario said that housemates should stick to the instruments they could play. "It’s a task," he said. "Do you want to eat rubbish food?"

"People are willing to learn something here," argued Darnell, as the housemates bickered and switched instruments among themselves. "You’re running around and it looks like I haven’t got control of the situation."

"The most musical person has to be on the drums," he continued, citing the rule that states that housemates only need to be in time with one another. "It’s just who has a brain that can carry those kind of things."

Mario said that the comment had insulted him. "I take offence to that," he told Darnell. "You need to take that back."

Darnell said that he should not take offence as the problem was not his.

"You can’t talk about people like that," Mario responded.

"You’re a beast, man," said Darnell. "Why would you make me feel like that? You don’t wanna go to those places with me because you’ll look like a fool. You don’t know the problems I go through."
