Luke discusses his political views

Luke told Mario this morning that he is a Conservative supporter, despite his father's protests.

"Being from Wigan, you would expect me to be a Labour supporter," he informed Mario, who had asked him which political party he votes for. "But most of my views tend to swing towards Conservative ideologies."

He added: "My dad will kill me for saying that."

The politics student later revealed that his father believes Margaret Thatcher "ruined this country" and is more left-wing as a result.
