Solid ratings for first 'BB9' eviction

The 9pm eviction show drew 3.5m, or 16% of the viewing audience, then another 174,000 on Channel 4+1. The follow-up interview show, from 10.35pm to 11.10pm, was watched by 2.6m (15%) then 125,000 on the timeshift.
The eviction programme topped the 3.3m audience for the corresponding show from BB8.
BBC One dominated the Friday primetime ratings, though, with 5.6m (26.2%) watching Euro 2008 coverage of Holland's victory over France from 7.30pm to 10pm.
A Touch of Frost, on ITV1 from 9pm to 11pm, was seen by 3.9m (18.6%).
BBC Two's Alexei Sayle's Liverpool and Five's US drama NCIS were neck-and-neck with 1.3m (5.8%).
