Earlier, Sylvia and Alexandra had indicated that they wouldn't be cross-dressing, and tonight they were joined by further members of the group.
Michael told Luke that he was having "second thoughts" about the evening, as Luke had decided not to dress as a woman. "It would have been more funny if you were doing it," he said. "I'll have to reassess the situation."
Luke was one of the most vocal housemates in his refusal to take part, blaming it on a lack of energy. "I will not be dressing as a female this evening," he declared. "I will, however, change my top." When Rebecca called him "boring", he said that he was happy to accept that description.
Later in the luxury bedroom, he discussed the cross-dressing with Mario, who was also refusing to dress as a woman. "If it was a task I'd do it," Mario said. "But I'm not going to have the piss taken out of me and look like a prat."
Luke agreed, saying: "You were talking about double standards earlier. If the girls wouldn't dress as bunnies, why should we dress as women?"
Mario went on: "Call me boring, call me whatever you like. I've got standards."
Meanwhile, other housemates were excited about getting dressed up, with Rex and Mohamed agreeing to wear makeup and Dale pondering what to wear. "Perhaps a nice sherbert number," he mused.
Jennifer and Rachel both decided to cross-dress, but thought they probably wouldn't look much like men.
