Housemates are turning Japanese
Published Tuesday, Jun 17 2008, 14:50 BST | By Ashleigh Rainbird

Rather than the usual monotone beeping, today’s alarm saw Mario attempt oriental dancing as Rebecca leaped onto her bed in excitement, while the other housemates rushed to investigate the living room's new layout.
The garden had been taken over by large, soft foam mats sandwiched between school age benches. The living room table had been dropped a few inches and was surrounded by foot-high wicker futon-style cushions, topped off with wicker place mats.
Jennifer administered pink make-up samples to test the group’s skin, supposing that they would be asked to style themselves on Geishas. She said the task would not be able to start until all housemates could show no allergic reaction.
Despite the new theme, the housemates enjoyed a breakfast of eggs, toast and leftover cake from Mohamed’s birthday party.
