Lisa, Darnell and Jennifer were given four hours to learn a series of 20 karate moves as part of the Japanese task this afternoon.
The sequence, named a kata, will be performed in front of fellow housemates later today.
Also watching will be an independent martial arts expert, who will judge both their effort and performance.
The trio were helped to master the routine by Dave, an instructor on a DVD they were given as an aid.
Lisa, who said she was a former fitness instructor, led the group as they got to grips with moves such as the lower level block and the lunge punch.
Darnell later told the group that if they perform the moves with conviction, they should be fine.
