Endurance karaoke task explained

A mammoth sing-a-thon has been laid on by Big Brother for the Japanese endurance karaoke team.

The five housemates assigned to the task will each take turns to enter a special booth in the house, where non-stop singing is expected through the night and for most of tomorrow.

Rebecca, Dennis, Rex, Alexandra and Sylvia have been told that the booth should not be left unattended and that they should not touch the karaoke machine.

A Bonnie Tyler classic will be the tune that signals the start of the challenge. Rex said: "I bet it is going to be the same song again and again."

Luke pointed out that there are futon beds in the living area, and the endurance team agreed that they should sleep there.

The group also discussed how they will have no way of alerting anyone if they need the toilet during a singing stint.

Kathreya said everyone should take tissue paper with them, adding: "Get ready to poo your pants."

Alexandra is lined up as the first singer to enter the booth, with Rebecca to follow in second.
