Housemates shocked by Alex news

The group was in shock tonight after being told that Alex has been removed from the house.

Earlier this evening, just hours after producers announced to the public that this Friday's eviction had been cancelled, the 23-year-old was called to the Diary Room.

When she did not return, Big Brother gathered the rest of the group at the sofas and informed them that she had been asked to leave. They were also asked to pack her suitcase.

The housemates were visibly stunned when the announcement was made, with Sylvia saying: "I don't believe it."

"They must have a very good reason to do that," Rex said.

As the news began to sink in, they discussed Alex's aggressive behaviour.

"I did like her," Sylvia said. "But sometimes she was just too harsh."

Mikey agreed: "She is a bully. A classic bully and she'll probably never change."

Kat, Lisa and Rachel later decided that the decision was probably for the best, with Kat commenting: "No more arguments for a while."

Alex was due to face the public vote alongside Mario this Friday after receiving nine nominations from her fellow housemates. The eviction has now been cancelled.
