Darnell was called to the Diary Room at dinnertime and returned with a note to read to the gathered group.
The note revealed that Big Brother viewed today's performance of 'When The Saints Go Marching In' as "atrocious".
It said the piece was not conducted properly, the bass section was out, and that the housemates did not sing in tune.
The announcement was met with a chorus of "boos" from the ensemble.
Darnell claimed that both the first and second performances were bad. He said it was not serious, adding that it was "just a game that Big Brother plays".
Rachel said: "I feel like I improved", adding that if everyone in the group felt the same it was all right.
