Sylvia and Stuart talk things through

Sylvia and Stuart attempted to resolve their problems this morning.

The pair had been having trouble communicating after Sylvia was annoyed by other housemates' speculation and Stuart thought she had feelings for him.

Speaking to Jennifer in the luxury bedroom, Sylvia noted: "Stuart hasn't made eye contact with me or you today." Jennifer responded that he was avoiding them "like the plague", and Sylvia agreed. "It's not like I'm saying don't talk to us," she complained. "I'm just saying stop what you're doing."

Meanwhile, Dennis explained to Stuart how his behaviour looked to other people, saying: "I'm just saying that moment, where a new good-looking guy comes in and he's straight in the bath with [Sylvia]... if I was watching Big Brother I'd be like, ooh, saucy."

He went on: "It will [start to] look like you're a player, and it's like troublemaking. If it was me and I wasn't listening to all your conversations I would think that. You need to tell her you're just friends and nothing more. She doesn't understand that."

Stuart said he wasn't good at dealing with the issue, sighing: "I'm just not into anyone in that way at all."

Later, Stuart and Sylvia discussed the situation while walking round the garden. Stuart told her that he would never speak about her behind her back. "I literally spoke to Jennifer because she's half involved and Dennis because he's one of your closest friends," he said, adding that he had asked for Dennis's advice rather than told him about the problems.

"It made it seem like a big deal, but that wasn't what you were trying to do," realised Sylvia, to which Stuart replied: "No, that's not me. I don't get involved in stuff like that, unless it's in a laughing, joking way."

He added that he had woken up and felt an atmosphere, while Sylvia confessed that she'd thought he wasn't talking to her. They finished the conversation laughing and moved into the main house, where Stuart got some breakfast and Sylvia went to talk to Dennis and Jennifer about the chat she had just had.
