Housemates shocked by Sylvia's reception

Housemates were left shocked by the crowd’s reaction to Sylvia as she left the Big Brother house tonight.

Rebecca started gasping and looked physically sickened by the angry boos directed at their roomie. She said: "Why did she get boos? She hadn’t done anything."

Darnell said it was "show time at the Apollo" and described the reaction as "real hate", while Lisa said she felt like she wanted to go and hold Sylvia's hand.

Jen said she had been preparing for Sylvia's departure all day. "I knew if I didn't prepare myself, I would be a wreck," she said.

Meanwhile, Dale looked as if he had been crying and was comforted by Jen.

"We've lost two in one day, and that is hard to accept," Jennifer said.

Earlier, Dale told Jen that if she was evicted before him he would want to go too.
