Belinda: "My bravado is a front"

Belinda revealed this morning that her bravado is "a front" and that she is overweight because it gives her "protection".

The theatre director was prompted to talk about her insecurities when Mario asked her about her need to "probe" all of the housemates.

She confessed that she is very talkative because she is insecure.

"The bravado is a front. The fat is a front. Why do I keep being fat when I could not be? Because then I'm not a sexual being am I?" she said.

Mario told her that people with the biggest personalities are always the "most insecure and vulnerable people you will ever meet".

He also said that he believed her decision to only ever wear black and white was a "safety feature" that she used to hide her body.

She agreed, saying: "I want to be liked. I want to make people happy. It's playing the clown isn't it?"

Belinda later added: "See how messed up I am? Perhaps that's why I'm here."
