Anderson enters Aussie Big Brother house

Pamela Anderson has entered Australia's Big Brother house.

The actress surprised the six remaining housemates when she emerged from the Diary Room in a low-cut red dress.

She initially appeared behind a glass screen but the contestants dismissed her as a celebrity impersonator.

The former Baywatch star will remain in the house for the next three days, but is not expected to stay overnight.

Her appearance is thought to be an attempt by Australia's Channel Ten to boost the show's flagging ratings.

A camera crew from Anderson's own reality show Pam: Girl On The Loose will follow her throughout her time in the country.
