Rachel cries after Mario comments

Rachel was reduced to tears this afternoon after Mario accused her of being a "spineless jellyfish".

Sitting in the basic bedroom, Kathreya attempted to comfort her friend, who said she had only ever thought highly of Mario.

"Who can you trust?" Rachel asked. "You trust one person and they make you feel like a fool."

She added that she was worried because Mario had threatened to say "home truths" if he was evicted. "I'd rather he say it now so I can talk to him about it," she argued, but Kathreya replied: "Why care? He broke your heart. Why care?"

Rachel agreed, saying: "I should be annoyed, not upset", but added that she had viewed Mario as a friend. When Kathreya asked if he was a "both way" friend, she replied: "Obviously not."

"You've only got one heart," Kathreya advised. "Give it to the people that care for you."

Rachel said she hated that the housemates doubted who she was, and said that she had thought of Mario as "the person who spoke up for everyone".

She also apologised to Kathreya for thinking that Mario was trying to help when he criticised her for crying.

"I've obviously been stupid," she sighed. "I'm stupid. I know now, definitely."
