Mario evicted!

Mario became the fourth contestant to be evicted from Big Brother tonight.

The 43-year-old from Warrington entered the house more than a month ago along with real-life partner Lisa, forming the show's first ever couple.

He had already been saved from the public vote twice but as Davina made the announcement tonight, he smiled and stood up to shake everyone's hand.

Lisa was sitting beside him and gave him a long hug following the announcement. "You've done brilliant to get this far," she said.

Fellow nominee Rebecca stood open-mouthed, before squealing "Oh, my God" repeatedly.

Mario said: "It is quite a shock, isn't it? But let's enjoy it."

He had earlier said he was "too robust" to be affected by the eviction process, adding: "Whatever happens, happens."

Mario is the fourth evictee, following Stephanie, Sylvia and Jennifer. Dennis and Alexandra were removed for unacceptable behaviour.
