Rex and Kat fail baguette-eating task

Rex and Kathreya failed to finish their French eating challenge this evening.

Earlier, Big Brother informed them that they would have 30 minutes in which to eat a five-foot long brie, grape and salad baguette.

The rest of the housemates were mostly supportive as they watched, yelling that the pair should carry on going and could finish the baguette.

However, Michael was less helpful. "They'll be on the toilet for days," he observed.

As the task progressed, the group began to worry that the challenge would not be completed and they would face a basic budget for the second week in a row. "We killed ourselves for nothing," Stuart whispered.

Kathreya and Rex were both sick, but carried on eating afterwards. "Brilliant," Belinda encouraged them.

However, the klaxon sounded before the two housemates had finished the baguette, meaning that they had failed to complete their task.

The pair apologised, but the rest of the group reassured them that they had done their best.
