Dale crowned new Head of House

Maysoon leapt from her monkey perch last night, leaving Dale to take the position of Head of House.

The model took the jump when she saw that Darnell was about to eat a banana to bring the stalemate to an end, a decision which she feared could see him in serious trouble.

She was unaware that housemates had read the rules and believed it simply meant Darnell would face a week in Hell.

Maysoon said Dale would stick to his word and put her, Sara, Rebecca, Luke, Stu and Rex in Heaven along with him.

Still on his perch, a smiling Dale told Darnell that he was his "hero", before Darnell explained that he knew Dale was so stubborn that he would stay up there for "two weeks".

Both gorillas then tucked into some pizza, before being told by Big Brother that they could remove their cumbersome costumes.

Dale was called to the Diary Room and emerged wearing the Head of House rosette. He said he had to decide the house split tomorrow.

Big Brother reminded him that he will have to crack down on housemates' behaviour. He was told that they had shown a continual disregard for the house’s fixtures and fittings.
