Luke: "I'm gutted and very angry"

Luke spent the morning after Rebecca’s departure pining for his evicted pal.

Having voiced his upset last night, Luke grew angrier as he spent more time without Bex.

"I’ve got mixed emotions," he told Dale. "I’m so angry but I’m very upset at the same time. I had tears in my eyes in the Diary Room last night. They said you’d have highs and lows in here, but I honestly never thought I’d have the lows."

He said he had not initially realised how much the duo’s friendship had meant to him.

"It took Mohamed kissing Rebecca to make me realise," he continued. "I’ve never reacted like that in my life - I was gutted. My chest was so tight I couldn’t believe it."

As he later described himself as being "very angry" at Bex’s eviction, Mikey begged the student to see the positive side of its outcome.

"It has its advantages," he told him. "I’ll get to keep my eardrums and you can have a good night’s sleep!"

"I had a lot more room," agreed Luke, having spent the night alone in a double bed for the first time this month.
