Speaking to Maysoon in the basic bedroom, he said he used to enjoy nominating but now sees it as merely something he has to do.
"Not that I've found many things fun lately, to be honest," he added.
He went on to say that being in the house for his birthday was the last thing on his checklist, but since then he hasn't really had a good time.
"I enjoyed my week in Heaven last week but I didn't get excited over a lot of stuff," he explained. "I feel the excitement's gone for me."
He continued: "May, I couldn't care less. It could be, what, eight weeks on Thursday? That's longer than I expected."
Luke admitted that the tasks were fun, but said they did not last long and the housemates had to create their own entertainment the rest of the time.
"If the people you have fun and excitement with are evicted, and she was... and I think to myself: 'What, another five weeks? God no.'"
