Mikey tackles hottest chilli pepper

Mikey took on one of the hottest chilli peppers in existence tonight, describing the experience as akin to a heart attack.

He had earlier consumed lesser chillies and triumphed, so was ready and willing when Dale lay down the gauntlet with the mighty scotch bonnet.

"I don’t know that it is that hot," he said, as he started swallowing. Moments later, he blabbed "it is hot" as his face flushed, his nose started running, his eyes became bloodshot and his body appeared to palpitate.

The group surrounding him in the living area laughed at the spectacle, with the exception of Rachel, who seemed genuinely concerned and a little panicked.

A few glasses of milk later, Mikey's composure returned and Rachel said: "You scared me... I thought [you were] going to keel over."

"Mikey, what the hell happened to you?" Luke enquired, as the chilli fiend regained his cool.

"I thought I was going to have a heart attack," he explained, "It was like it was burning your heart."

Undeterred, Sara and Darnell then took on the challenge, both experiencing similar symptoms.
