Darnell upset letter is not from family

The housemates had received letters from home after Hell had a task to open and sort envelopes. However, Darnell, who was deported from the USA and is now unable to visit his family, was upset to learn that his letter was from a friend.
He explained that the person who wrote his letter worked with him on his music and had been the one to tell him that housemates had to put down contacts, which is why Darnell chose him.
"I see him once a month, if that," he sighed. "I couldn't even tell you where that person lives."
He noted that his letter was "generic" and said that the other housemates' messages had shown a close relationship.
"As sad as I am, I can't even cry," he told Mohamed. "That's how dead I am."
He added: "I'm super emotional and everyone's letter meant a lot to me, but that just made mine so much worse. At the same time, now I'm an ass because I'm not satisfied with a letter from someone who put the effort in. I'm upset on a day when everyone's happy."
Stuart and Mohamed both said they understood how he must feel, while Rex said he was "entitled" to get upset and shouldn't sacrifice his feelings for others.
