Darnell confides fears to Kat

Darnell confided in Kat in the early hours of this morning, admitting that he is fearful of being portrayed as a "village idiot".

As the pair chatted in the living room when everybody had gone to bed, Darnell confessed: "I want my good points on the show to be certain ones. Like I don't want to be the village idiot, the ugly, funny guy."

Kat tried to assure him that he should do whatever comes naturally in the house, telling him: "Follow your heart."

Earlier in the evening, she had approached Darnell as he was washing dishes because he seemed angry and was muttering swear words.

"Breathe in, breathe out," she coached him. However, Darnell told her that he was worried about the perception of him on the outside.

"I'm thinking people's families are watching and thinking, 'Why did you put my family member in with that crazy man?'" he said. "I feel like everyone's accomplished something in here except me."
