Rex awards Nicole and Sara

Rex crowned Nicole and Sara as winners of the chewing gum mosaic task this afternoon, praising their "well-defined" image of him.

The new Head of House was asked to critique each of the pairs’ mosaic masterpieces.

"Lisa has put in so much work, while Mikey was hiding behind the water trough,” he told the first team. "But I don’t really see myself in it. It looks more Charlie Brown from Snoopy than Rex."

To Kat and Rachel, he said: "I don’t know why my face is green or my hands are brown, but I think, for positive criticism, it’s very colourful."

Nicole pointed out that they had successfully filled the page, prompting Mikey to bow down before her, saying "Hail, first lady!" for her compliment.

To Mo and Darnell, Rex said: "It’s very impressive, but I’m not sure why I’ve got chewing gum stuck all over me - I look like Mr. Blobby made with chewing gum. I have a pig nose, I don’t seem to have any lips, the hair colour is slightly wrong and I have a gigantic ear on my face."

Winners Nicole and Rachel were told: "It’s the best by far. It's got loads of definition and the hair colour is spot on. My jaw line has been defined quite well as I do have a well-chiselled jawline."

Kat coughed loudly, but Nicole insisted: "It's not favouritism because it's actually the best one."

Rex and the winners were told to remain in their Roman costumes until further notice.
