Rachel, Kat shaken by Nicole's upset

Rachel and Kat last night took some time away from the boys to reflect on Nicole's unhappy situation.

Having left the B-block bedroom, where they were chatting with Rex, Mohamed and Darnell, the two girls sat in the living room and agreed that it was a horrible situation to witness.

Rachel was affected by seeing Nicole and Rex argue, having earlier consoled a sobbing Nicole in the luxury bedroom. "I hate it when couples argue, because you can't say anything," she told Kat.

Kat agreed that it is hard to know what to say because people rarely understand other people's relationships. "And when you say something, you look like an idiot," she added.

Rachel told Kat that she felt "helpless" when Nicole was crying because she didn't know what to tell her, and Kat agreed that "everybody's relationship is different." Kat had earlier tried to persuade Rex to go in and comfort Nicole, but he refused to see her. "With me, I never leave it overnight," said Kat. "If I leave it I get ill. Proper tense," she told Rachel as they sat alone.

After some deliberation, they agreed that the couple would sort themselves out in the morning. They then decided to stay up a bit longer in an effort to enjoy their final fortnight as much as possible, and went to rejoin the boys in the basic bedroom.
