Rex attempts to bargain for food

The chef had earlier said he intended to request extra groceries ahead of tomorrow's food delivery. Otherwise, he threatened, housemates would go straight to bed after dinner, providing no entertainment.
Back in the kitchen, Rex set about looking through the cupboards and told Nicole, Mo and Rachel that Big Brother was not "playing". He said that when he was asked his vocation in the outside world, he replied that he was a professional balloon maker.
Big Brother told him that with his culinary experience, he was sure to be able to knock something together. "Oh, I don’t want any more carbs," he moaned, as potatoes were discovered and settled upon.
With Rachel's help, the menu went on to include different types of potatoes, curry broccoli, crispy bacon, sweet corn, and tart.
When Rex told Kat there was also sausages available, she giggled and said: "I never say no to the sausage." She then thought again and added: "Let’s change the subject, I don’t want to be portrayed that way."
Rex later admitted that there was much more food than he had first believed.
