Darnell talks about his time in prison
Published Monday, Aug 25 2008, 11:47 BST | By Paul Clare

The housemate often refers to his gang and criminal past but has only talked directly about his prison experiences in the last two days.
Darnell said that he didn't feel accepted by either side of the racial divide in prison, telling Mohamed he was "too white for the black guys, and too black for the white guys".
Mohamed jokingly asked whether Darnell had ever dropped the soap in the prison shower. Darnell replied that he hadn't, but he had spent a lot of time cleaning the showers to get out of "lock-down".
