Casino props intrigue housemates

The housemates were intrigued this morning when they discovered that the Big Brother house had been transformed into a casino.

The appearance of slot machines and other casino props quickly resulted in speculation about the forthcoming shopping task.

Mikey pointed out that the challenge could have a James Bond theme and warned that there could be unpleasant times ahead.

"They have that game where as the prize money increases, the pain increases," he explained, adding that the housemates could be hooked up to shock machines again.

Later, he told Lisa: "It's either gamble to stay here or gamble away the prize money."

"When I saw the casino I knew it was involving money," she agreed. "Either the prize money or money for the shopping task."

Mikey then suggested that the housemates have nothing to worry about, claiming that, whatever the outcome of the task, they have nothing to lose.

He noted: "For the last task, the stakes have got to be high. [But] we're gambling away things we never had - we never had the £100,000 prize money and we never thought we'd get this far."
