Group performs Las Vegas variety show

The housemates showed off their new skills in a variety show this evening.

The group had been learning various acts all day as part of this week's shopping task.

The first pair to perform were Kathreya and Sara, who acted as illusionists. The housemates were impressed when Kathreya inserted metal sheets into a box Sara was standing in, before removing the middle section so that only Sara's head and feet were visible.

As the group clapped, Sara revealed that they were not allowed to explain the trick until they were out of the house.

Rachel and Lisa showed off their skills as croupiers, although Lisa was reduced to giggles when she sent the cards flying across the table. Rex was next and quickly escaped from a straitjacket.

The final pair to perform were Darnell and Michael, who sang 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' as Elton John and Kiki Dee. The act, which included the duo kissing each other, left the group chuckling, with Rachel claiming that she had never laughed so much in her life.

However, the housemates were left open-mouthed when Big Brother announced that they had passed the first part of the shopping task and wondered what else was in store for them.
