Darnell and Rex reprimanded for 'bullying'

Viewer complaints have forced Big Brother to caution Rex and Darnell over their future conduct, reports The Sun.

Channel 4 received around 1,500 complaints after Darnell called Sara an "ugly bitch" and a "slut" and Rex joked she "loves the cock".

Sara broke down in tears, asking the pair "how can you call me a slut when you don’t know me?"

Rex replied: "We’re not picking on you, it’s a conversation."

Admitting the error of his ways, Darnell later confessed he was looking for revenge after Sara's repeated rejections.

"It hurt so much I needed to get her back in any way possible," he said.

After being called to the Diary Room with Rex, Darnell was advised: “Big Brother reminds you that unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated in the house.”

Rex defended himself, telling Big Brother he was "only joking" with Sara. "I hate bullies, I would never bully someone," he said.

However, Mikey told Rex last night that one of the main reasons he had chosen to nominate the housemate was because of his "bullying" of Rachel. "I voted for you after the way you went on at Rachel," he said.

The number of complaints received by Big Brother is the highest since the racism storm of last year's Celebrity Big Brother.
