The latest news snippets and gossip from the house...
Some of the housemates continued to discuss nominations after being permitted to do so by Big Brother. Lisa said she had never had a "plan" and admitted to nominating Rebecca a few times. Meanwhile, Rachel couldn't remember if she had voted for Mario but added that if she had it was only once. "I can't wait to get out and see who's lying," Rex announced. "I think some people don't want to say because they don't want to offend others."
As the housemates are on a basic budget, they could only afford to rent the basic bedroom and spent some time moving all their belongings over from the luxury room. Kathreya used binbags to transfer all her clothes and Rachel asked Darnell for help. As Sara walked into the empty wardrobe, she sighed: "It's horrible to see everything vacated." Meanwhile, Michael was annoyed as he realised he had not bagged the bed he hoped he had, prompting him to try to swap with Sara.
Darnell told Lisa and Sara that they had looked good on the plasma screen last night. As Sara replied "aww", he added that he thought that their success had been "wonderful" and "awesome". He explained that he had been jumping around the living area with Rex. Lisa noted that everyone had expected a cash prize to be in the envelopes delivered with the shopping.
As Rachel and Michael enjoyed some cheese, Michael claimed that mice don't actually eat the food. Rachel was shocked to hear the news, asking why people associated the two. Michael decided it was probably due to cartoons. Later, Rachel asked Sara about the revelation. "You've scarred me for life," she told Michael.
Darnell and Sara agreed that it would be fun to watch the show back once they got out of the house, although Darnell confessed that he would be "embarrassed". Sara decided it would be best to watch the footage with a fellow housemate. "You can't explain this to its full," she observed. "You can only talk about it to people who've experienced it."
Michael explained that he loved lying in bed and sleeping as when he dreamed he had visual images again. He told Rachel that the people he's met who were blind from birth dream situations in shadows and sounds. "It sounds quite scary," he admitted. "They don't seem to dream that much."
The shutters for the basic bedroom were not working, causing Big Brother to ask some of the housemates to see if anything was blocking them. The group couldn't find anything, prompting Michael and Rachel to stay up to see if they would be sent to the luxury bedroom. However, they eventually gave up and went to bed, although they used Michael's cane to poke around the shutters to try to move any obstructions first.
Some of the housemates chatted about the final week. Darnell said that they should be treated to make them feel good for making it that far, pointing out that Sara and Lisa had won £25,000 for being nominated. He explained that the producers would not want housemates to prefer leaving in the middle rather than in the final as has happened this year. Meanwhile, Rachel said she believed the atmosphere on final night would be "electric".
