Group invited to farewell dinner

A doorbell sounding in the Big Brother house startled the group this afternoon.

Mikey shouted: "Someone is at the door" as housemates chased to the entrance.

There, Rex discovered an envelope and began reading out an invitation that was enclosed.

"Big Brother cordially invites housemates to a farewell dinner," he began. The group was promised an evening of fine dining, music and entertainment.

They were told that they should dress to impress and that they would be given an hour’s warning to get ready for the special farewell treat.

"How weird was it hearing a doorbell?" Rachel later asked.
