Darnell: "I'm where I belong now"

Darnell was eating the farewell dinner laid on by Big Brother tonight when he said he felt like he belonged.

The group had earlier been invited to the special meal to celebrate their last full night in the house.

Having enjoyed their starters, Rex began questioning housemates about their favourite experiences in the house.

Rex and Rachel said they have made special friends, Mikey enjoyed it when he squirted everyone with water, and Sara said she loved it when Lisa got engaged.

Pressed by Sara, Darnell eventually offered his favourite thing about the experience.

"I came in here feeling lonely, with nothing, and I'm leaving with a whole lot of things, dude," he said. "I definitely feel like I'm where I belong now, know what I'm saying?"

Rex agreed, saying he has bonded with people in the house more than some of his friends on the outside. He added that he has also "made friends with himself in the house".

More heartfelt words were to come when Rex and Mikey settled their differences.

"I would consider you a friend, Mikey," Rex said.

"I would now, Rex. Certainly after the last week," Mikey agreed, going on to say that he likes Nicole as well but did not think she should have entered the house.
