The latest news snippets and gossip from the house...
Darnell revealed that he wished the £100,000 could be split between him, Michael, Rex and Rachel so that all five finalists would have £25,000 as Sara had won hers in The Prisoner's Dilemma. "It would be so cool," he smiled, adding that he had already got what he wanted from the experience. "Being in the final is winning," Rachel remarked, worrying that she was being "corny". However, Darnell agreed. He explained that if they split the money it would be his way of paying the group back as he felt he owed them a lot.
Darnell said he felt "grateful" and "privileged" to have been picked for the show, but worried that he didn't always live up to the producers' expectations. Michael remarked that he was "proud" to have been part of the highlights the group watched yesterday, and Darnell and Rachel agreed.
Sara teased Darnell that she still couldn't believe he hadn't picked her for Heaven, and he explained that it was because he wasn't sure about her allegiance to B-block. However, he admitted that his one regret about his time as Head of House was that he had picked the wrong people. "I think I must have been high on poppy seeds," he joked.
Rachel and Darnell chatted about what they would steal from the house tomorrow. Darnell admitted he might take a couple of plates, while Rachel was planning to take a bag of chickpeas. Michael joked that they would be on eBay in three months, but she told him that she would never even eat them unless she was starving and there was nothing else.
Sara decided to borrow some fake tan from Rex for the final, and he agreed that he would use it too. However, Rachel revealed that she no longer uses fake tan, after she applied it to her body but not her face. "When I went out, I thought I looked amazing," she explained, adding that it wasn't until she got home that she realised her body was orange and her face was white. "What a disaster!" Sara giggled, while Rachel revealed she kept the photos so she could laugh at them.
Darnell pointed out that it might be best to go early in the final as it would get rid of the nerves and anxiety. "Hearing your name is a relief," he claimed. "Once your name is called, it's over." Rex agreed, arguing that if you ended up coming second it would "sting".
The group chatted about the audition process until they were reminded by Big Brother that it was "still" not permitted. The announcement made them laugh, but Rachel pointed out that they couldn't even discuss it after leaving the house as it was in their contracts. "What do you think they're going to do, follow you with a secret microphone?" Rex asked, as they assured her they could talk about it among themselves.
The housemates had trouble getting to sleep as they were excited about the final. Rex had predicted that he would find it difficult as he couldn't wait to leave, but Sara reassured him that he'd be alright. However, once he was in bed he appeared restless and ended up getting up to go to the toilet. "Wow, I can't sleep," he sighed. Rachel agreed, explaining that she was closing her eyes but it was "just not happening".
