Rachel: "I've learnt about chickpeas!"
Rachel has been crowned the winner of Big Brother 9, polling 51.3% of the final public vote.

After shouting "Thank you!" from inside the house, Rachel left clutching Mikey’s yellow glass and stood watching the firework display from the stairs before she was met by Davina.

The highlights of Rachel's interview:

On winning: "You dream about going in Big Brother, that’s like a dream. And then you go and win, it’s like, how?"

On Mikey coming second: "Mikey is amazing, absolutely amazing."

On Kat’s eviction: "It was horrible because everyone else was saying that there wasn’t gonna be seven of us in the final. It was such a shock. It was horrible. When anyone leaves it’s not the same. When it’s people really close to you it’s not the same. Mo’s not breaking wind anymore and Kat’s not smiling next to you."

On "sitting on the fence": "When you give your opinion about certain things, it can cause trouble and upset people. When I was up for eviction it hurt me when people were saying my name."

On fancying Mario: "He’s a lovely guy. If I was 40!.. He’s an attractive guy, but he’s not really my type."

On being fake: "I know who I am. How can you not be who you are when you’re in there for 13 weeks?"

On her leaning experience: "I’ve learnt about chickpeas and rice! But you’ve got to be true to who you are... People try to keep attacking you and telling you you’re fake."
