The stand-up comic, 32, described the long-running reality series as "absolute nonsense".
"I'm not a fan of Big Brother," he told The Sun. "I'm pleased I'm able to say that now, because last year I had a brief stint hosting the Big Brother's Big Mouth vehicle.
"I didn't like it at all, I hated it. I thought it was absolute nonsense. I think it's terrible, it really is. I think it's really dead that format now. I'd be surprised if they can resurrect it."
McIntyre, whose new series Comedy Roadshow starts on Saturday, also mocked the contestants' "weird philosophies on life".
"'If you've got something to say, say it to my face'. I don't understand that - if someone's got something negative to say, say it way behind my back please, nowhere near my face," he joked.
"The last thing I need is people getting in my face and slagging me off."
A Channel 4 spokesperson commented: "He's entitled to his opinion - but he's certainly changed his tune from last year."
Big Brother 10 starts on Thursday at 10pm on Channel 4.
