Last month, the show's host was alleged to have said that there would only be two more series of the Channel 4 reality TV staple.
"There has been so much stuff written about Big Brother that isn't true and I definitely didn't say that," she told Heat.
"I said that the contract that Channel 4 has with Endemol lasts two more years and that I'm sure if this series goes well they'll renew it for longer.
"I would never say it's over - thank God my producers know me well enough... It could have been hugely damaging to my career."
McCall will host this year's launch night on Channel 4 at 9pm on Thursday, June 4. She will also present E4 spinoff Big Brother's Big Mouth.
